Hello,
It's Nisha here.
Hope you're well.
So I've been feeling a little bit low at the moment.
I think the grey weather and the constant rain that we've been having in the UK is feeling just there that a stagnant energy so I thought a yoga nidra to record on low energy so it's a rest to restore and gentle reawakening.
So I think very perfect for this sort of weather.
I want you to lie down in a comfortable position.
Let the body be completely supported by the floor,
The mats or the bed beneath you.
There is nothing to fix.
Nothing to improve.
Nothing to push through.
Low energy is not a problem.
It is information.
And right now.
You are listening.
Allow the eyes to soften.
Back into their sockets.
Let the tongue rest heavy in the mouth.
Unclench the jaw.
Drop the shoulders away from the ears.
If it feels supportive,
Place one hand on the belly.
And one hand on the heart.
Feel the natural rhythm of your breath.
Just as it is.
If you have the energy.
Silently offer yourself a soft intention.
Not a demand.
Something simple,
Light,
I allow myself to deeply rest.
It is safe for me to restore.
I trust my energy to return in its own time.
If even that feels too much,
Let the intention,
Your sankalpa,
Be this.
Rest.
Rest itself.
Bring awareness to the breath of the belly.
There is no need to deepen it.
No need to control it.
Imagine each inhalation.
Is like a gentle tide.
Rolling in without effort.
Each exhale.
A soft release.
Like the body sighing internally.
If the breath feels shallow.
Let it be shallow.
If it pauses,
Let it pause.
You are not doing the breath.
The breath is caring for you.
Now let's do the body scan.
Bring awareness to the right side of the body.
The right toes.
Soul of the Foot.
The heel.
Ankle.
Love and Light.
Knee.
Bye.
Feel the entire right leg becoming heavy.
As if it's gently melting into the ground.
Right here.
Lava bath.
Way.
Right hand.
The palm.
Fingers.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
The right shoulder softens.
Melting down the back.
Now the left side.
Left toes.
The fit.
Hail.
The ankle.
Love and Light.
The knee.
Thigh.
The left leg,
Releases its weight fully.
The left hip.
Left side of the lower back.
Left hand.
The palm.
Fingers.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Left shoulder dissolves.
Bring awareness to the back of the body.
The heels,
Calves.
The thighs.
Spine.
Shoulder blades.
Back of the head.
Than the front of the body.
Belly soft and receptive.
The chest spacious,
But relaxed.
Throat open.
Face smooth.
The whole body is resting.
Effortless.
How?
Now imagine your low energy as a weather pattern,
Not a personal failure.
Perhaps it feels like fog or a grey sky.
Or a dimly lit room.
Are a winter soil,
Quiet and dormant.
You do not need to chase the sun.
Just notice.
Even in stillness.
Life is present.
Let yourself be exactly as you are here.
Nothing more.
Nothing class.
Now without effort.
Imaginable.
Subtle glow in the center of your chest.
Not bright,
Not fiery.
More like the warmth of a candle in a quiet room.
With each inhalation,
This glow spreads just a little into the shoulders.
The belly.
With each exhalation.
It settles and stabilizes.
You are not boosting energy.
You are inviting circulation.
If the glow fades.
It's okay.
If it strengthens,
Also okay.
Trust.
The body's wisdom.
Remember your think helper.
Your intention.
Repeat it in your mind three times.
Begin to notice the space around you.
The Rim.
The air on your skin.
Feel the surface beneath your body once more.
Gently invite small movements.
Wiggling fingers and toes.
Slow stretches if they feel good.
Before opening the eyes,
Remember,
Rest is productive.
Low energy is not the end of the story.
Your system knows how to replenish itself.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Or perhaps drift off to sleep.
