Welcome to your stop overthinking EFT topping meditation.
This meditation is meant to help you to stop overthinking in your life.
Just a disclaimer,
I am not a mental health practitioner.
So if you feel that you need mental health help,
Please seek out a professional.
Overthinking can cause our brains to always be on.
And sometimes when we overthink,
We also aren't trusting ourselves.
And trusting ourselves might always not be so easy for everyone based on what we've been through.
But today,
I want to just help you get a little closer to that and allow ourselves to let go of this overthinking loop we might be in right now.
Go ahead and get comfortable.
And I'm going to tell you where to top.
So all you need to do is either feel the words that I say,
Or say them aloud after me.
And you can start this meditation by grading yourself from a one through 10.
10 being the strongest of where you are in your loop of overthinking right now.
And we're going to tap through this meditation and regrade ourselves at the end.
So you can go ahead right now and take a deep breath in.
And out.
And I want you to start tapping on the side of your hand in the spot that is right in the middle of the bottom of your pinky finger and your wrist.
And we're going to begin.
So as you're tapping,
Sometimes I can't stop overthinking,
But I love and accept myself anyway.
Sometimes I feel like I can't trust any of my decisions.
But I love and accept myself anyway.
I know I can allow myself to stop overthinking,
And I fully love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
And out.
Side eye.
All of the doubt.
Under eye.
All of the negativity.
Under nose.
I want to release it all.
Under mouth.
I hate when I get stuck overthinking.
Collarbone.
It doesn't feel good to me.
Under your armpit.
Sometimes I just want to calm down.
Top of the head.
Sometimes I just want to trust myself.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
It feels so hard to stop overthinking.
Side eye.
Sometimes I just can't land on a decision.
Under eye.
I worry about how something could affect the future.
Under nose.
Then I worry about how something might have worked out in the past,
Or didn't work out.
Under mouth.
And it drives me crazy.
Collarbone.
And I want to release all of this.
Under your armpit.
I no longer want to carry this burden.
Top of the head.
I want to let go of all of the overthinking that I do.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
What if I didn't always overthink everything?
Side eye.
What if I just trusted myself?
Under eye.
What if I stopped always looking to the future?
Under nose.
And what if I stopped worrying about how things have happened in the past?
Under mouth.
What if I just let the present unfold?
Collarbone.
And make the best decision that I can with the information that I have now.
Under your armpit.
What if I did start to overthink again?
And I just brought myself back to the present moment.
Top of the head.
What if I allowed myself grace no matter what?
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
I allow myself to stop overthinking.
Side eye.
I allow myself to stop always worrying about the future.
Under eye.
I allow myself to stop dwelling on the past.
Under nose.
And if I do overthink in a situation?
Under mouth.
Do I overthink around a decision that I need to make?
Collarbone.
I give myself grace.
Under your armpit.
And I just remind myself to come back to the present moment.
Top of the head.
I remind myself that nothing is more important than the present.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
It's safe for me to trust myself.
Side eye.
It's safe for me to trust my decisions.
Under eye.
It's safe for me to stop overthinking.
Under nose.
It might not have felt safe for me in the past.
Under mouth.
But I'm safe now.
Collarbone and I am in control of my life.
Under your armpit.
I release anything,
Not allowing me to feel safe in trusting myself.
Top of the head.
It's safe for me to trust myself.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
I feel so free when I trust myself.
Side eye.
I feel so free when I don't overthink everything.
Under eye.
I feel so free when I'm not always worrying about the future.
Under nose.
I feel so free when I'm not always thinking about the past.
Under mouth.
I feel so free when I can give myself grace no matter what.
Collarbone.
I feel so free when I can just live in the present moment.
Under your armpit.
When I can just allow my life to unfold the way that it was meant to.
Top of the head.
It feels so good when I don't overthink everything and I fully love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Okay,
That's the end of this tapping meditation.
If you want to go ahead and re-grade how you felt on whatever place you're in with your overthinking right now,
Burma 1-10,
10 being the strongest and least controlled,
Go ahead and see if your number went down.
A 4 or below is generally where we want to be.
But if your number went down at all,
That's very positive and amazing.
And you can always do this meditation again if you feel that it really helped you and you want to further release some of that energy around whatever you are overthinking about.
I want to thank you so much for listening today and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
