Number 3.
This is called the Mindful Focus Break.
This is something you can do every couple of hours or before a meeting or at any task you have to do.
Pause as the first step and then notice am I becoming tense right now?
Do I need to recenter or ground?
Putting aside technology and to-do lists just for the moment.
The second step is to breathe.
Soften your jaw,
Your neck and your shoulders.
Straighten and lengthen your spine.
Sitting tall,
Taking 3 to 5.
Slightly slower,
Slightly deeper breaths in through the nose,
Down into your belly.
Counting 4 as you're breathing in and counting 6 as you breathe out.
The third step is focus.
Consciously allow the breath to settle the body.
With an intention,
What focus is most important for you right now?
If it's leaving work and heading home,
What's important is shifting and resetting so that you can be focused on being at home,
Not still at work.
