Whenever this happens to find you,
Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.
It's like we always do,
Whether that be seated meditation,
Laying down,
Standing,
Or walking.
Whenever you're ready,
Either close your eyes or focus on a point in space,
Allowing your awareness to become centered,
Becoming aware of your presence,
Your body,
Your heart,
And your mind,
Or the space around you,
Without a sense of judgment,
Without judging how you're doing or where you're at,
Just with a sense of gentle awareness,
Just noticing how your breath flows,
Allowing your belly,
Your ribcage,
Throat,
Feel the air and expand as you breathe in,
Touching the moment,
This present moment,
At the edge of that breath,
And with breathing out,
Observing how it feels just here and just now,
This place of presence,
Feeling your points of contact,
Space and in time,
Breath,
The air around you or beneath you,
Temperature,
Noticing how it changes,
How it's okay for it to change,
Nothing to judge,
The same going through your thoughts,
Allowing yourself to notice them as they come from nowhere,
Go to nowhere,
Touching their presence without engaging with them,
Without clinging to them,
As you remain in this present,
As you gently observe,
Notice what happens,
You allow yourself to be just here,
Just now,
Without any judgment,
Acceptance within you,
Affirming to yourself,
I accept myself as I am,
Becoming aware of a sense of joy,
Happiness,
A deep-seated peace,
Exploring the emotions that arise in this space of non-self-judgment,
Radical self-acceptance,
A space where you can just allow yourself to be,
Accept yourself as you are,
Identifying feelings of love,
Happiness,
Of positivity,
All that which self-acceptance can bring you by just observing and identifying them,
Appreciation in our hearts towards these feelings.
I will let you rest here for a few minutes,
Feel this joy,
And your next in and out breath,
Make it extra deep,
Allowing the stomach and ribcage to fully expand,
When you hold your breath at the top of its being,
Exhale with a deep sigh,
Let your breath return as it naturally is,
Become aware of the silent positivity,
The trust in yourself,
The love,
The happiness you feel towards yourself,
Welcoming life today,
Welcoming goodness and joy to your heart,
Carrying these feelings with you everywhere you go throughout the rest of your day.
