Let's get started by getting into whatever position feels right for you today.

Be it laying,

Standing,

Sitting,

Or even walking.

Trust your body as best you can.

It's a better teacher than we often realize.

Whenever you are ready,

Make the conscious choice to focus the eyes on a single point and feel the breath.

Or close your eyes.

Feel the presence of the body.

This conscious effort of awareness.

Touching the surface of this very moment.

Don't force the breath,

But try and let it settle into a natural depth.

If it varies in your meditation,

That is perfectly fine.

If the breath is long,

Let it be long.

If the breath is short,

Let it be short.

Letting the breath work through whatever comes up and holding it in your heart,

In your body,

In your mind,

And in your breath.

This natural presence,

This natural flow,

Just here and just now.

That's it.

Here we can heal.

Here we can grow.

Here we can forgive ourselves,

Which is often so hard to do.

Or if we need,

We can just be with the breath.

There's nothing to control.

Change is ever happening.

And wherever you are,

Let yourself be in this present moment.

No matter what comes up.

Touch it with the softness of just this right now.

Just noticing whatever you notice.

Being present.

Being here.

There may be moments of silence,

Moments of movement,

Moments of chaos,

And moments of peace.

In this,

They are all right here,

Right now.

And you are holding them in the gentle experience of the breath,

Of focus,

Of just this.

When things do come about,

Whether they are coming or going,

Just observe them.

Without holding on to them.

Without trying to change them.

Without trying to control them.

You'll find they leave just as quickly as they arrived.

If you lose focus,

It's okay.

If you feel like you aren't doing well in this practice,

It's perfectly fine.

A difficult practice is a good practice.

A hard practice can teach us more than we know.

This is itself the path.

As you continue to stay present with mindful observance of your thoughts,

You may begin to notice other things.

But whatever's happening,

Just let it be.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this joy,

This love.

This very now,

In all that it is,

Just observing,

Just allowing.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

It's okay to appreciate this moment.

When you're ready,

Take your time.

As you open your eyes or pull your focus away from that single point,

Continually growing and learning in this moment after moment of just this,

Exactly where we are.

Thank you so much.

I am Silas Day.

Thank you for sitting with me today.

And I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
