Hello and welcome to the 16th day of 21 meditation session.
Today we are going to do a mindfulness session which is called as,
What can I do to help you?
It's a very powerful session.
At meditation you will be sitting and I will carry you at each step.
So bear with me.
Just breathe in and breathe out in case you would like to wear your blindfolds or scarves or handkerchief on your eyes.
Please do that.
Breathe in and breathe out a few times and as you do that slowly close your eyes.
Relax the shoulders,
Relax the spine,
Relax your hands,
Your knees,
Your feet.
Visualize the surroundings around you.
The color of the wall,
Your cupboard,
What the furniture around you,
What are the things kept around you as much as possible.
Be absolutely awake and alive in this moment right now.
Keep one hand on your heart chakra which is the center of the chest and one hand on your hara and hara is just below your navel to your belly button.
That's a lower abdomen and breathe in and breathe out a few times.
And see your family members in front of you one by one.
So go with the first family member who comes in front of you.
Look at that person.
Get connected to the person and ask this person what can I do to help you?
And if I rephrase it,
It can also be asked as what can I change in myself to make your life easy?
And once you ask this question,
Then quietly listen to the answer.
It would take a lot of courage for you to go through this session today.
I wish you that.
One by one we go through each and every family member of yours and ask this question to them.
What can I change in myself to make a life easier?
And listen to their answer.
Once you've completed this with your family,
I would like you to move this on to your close friends and do the same drill by asking them what can I change in me to make your life easier?
Listen to what they would like to tell you.
Take your time.
Listen to them.
Now slowly move on to the place you work and choose five people with whom you work very closely and ask them the same question.
What can I change in me to make your life easier?
Or what can I do to genuinely help you?
And listen to their answers.
If there's somebody else you would like to ask this question to who is not being covered till now?
Feel free to do that now.
You you Chunky breathing and breathe out.
Relax your hands and slowly start preparing yourself to come back.
Come back to this room.
Come back to your body.
Come back to your breath and once you feel complete,
Slowly open your eyes.
Sometimes when we are looking out to move ahead in our lives,
To grow in our lives,
Those ten people around us who are closest to us can actually tell us what do we need to do?
It is just that sometimes our ego stops us to listen to them because they're actually showing us the mirror.
That's true.
So go ahead and write down the answers you got in the meditation today and I wish you a day where you go ahead and ask people,
You have the courage to ask people,
How can I actually help you?
What can I do to help you?
What can I change in me to make your life easier?
To make you happier?
And see the magic in the relationships surrounding you?
