They have a way of showing up loud and fast before we've even finished our coffee.

Before diving into the week,
We can take a moment to arrive,
Right here,
Right now.
Let's do that.
Take a slow breath in,
And let it go.
Feel your feet or your body on the ground.
Breathe in,
And breathe out.
Let your shoulders soften.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Unclench your jaw.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Just staying here for a few minutes with the breath.
Just setting the intention for the day.
Setting the intention for the week.
You don't have to carry the whole week right now.
So,
Ask yourself gently,
What is one word that you want to bring into this day?
Maybe it's ease,
Or clarity,
Or focus.
Let that word ride the breath,
Like a wave.
Let it settle into your chest.
