Welcome fellow menopause sister.
I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.
My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.
Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.
By promoting relaxation,
Reducing stress and anxiety,
And improving sleep and mood,
Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.
Today is day number 24.
Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.
Close your eyes.
Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And then exhale through your mouth,
Helping your entire body to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.
The focus for today's meditation is on strengthening relationships.
Menopause is a time of significant hormonal changes and can often be accompanied by physical symptoms and emotional changes that put a strain on relationships.
However,
With the help of mindfulness and meditation practices,
You can go through menopause and navigate this transition more smoothly and cultivate stronger relationships.
Bring your attention to your body.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort and allow yourself to release any physical tension as you continue to breathe.
Now bring to mind a relationship in your life that you would like to strengthen.
This could be a romantic partner,
A family member,
Or a close friend.
As you focus on this relationship,
Bring to mind any feelings or emotions that arise.
Notice any judgments or negative thoughts that come up and allow them to simply pass by like clouds in the sky.
Begin to visualize yourself in a peaceful,
Harmonious relationship with this person.
Imagine yourselves laughing together,
Enjoying each other's company,
And supporting one another through difficult times.
I want you to focus on the feeling of love and connection with this person.
Allow yourself to bask in the warmth and joy of this relationship.
Take a moment to appreciate the love and connection you have with this person.
And consider repeating this meditation and focusing on any other relationship that you would like to strengthen.
By cultivating feelings of love and connection through meditation,
You can strengthen your relationships and navigate this transition with greater ease and grace.
And now in your mind's eye,
I want you to picture your beautiful face.
And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me out loud.
I honor my body and mind during this time of transition.
I am worthy of love and care,
Especially during menopause.
Self-care is not selfish,
It is necessary for my well-being.
I prioritize my own needs and take time for self-care every day.
I listen to my body and give it what it needs during menopause.
I am strong and capable of navigating this transition with grace and ease.
I trust my intuition and make choices that support my health and well-being.
I release any guilt or shame around taking care of myself during menopause.
I am grateful for this opportunity to learn and grow through this transition.
I am at peace with myself and my body during menopause and I trust the journey.
When you are ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
And roll your shoulders back and forth.
And roll your shoulders back and down.
And slowly begin to blink your eyes open.
Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
