Welcome fellow menopause sister.
I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.
My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.
Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.
By promoting relaxation,
Reducing stress and anxiety,
And improving sleep and mood,
Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.
Today is day number six.
Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.
Close your eyes.
Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And then exhale through your mouth,
Helping your entire body to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.
The focus for today's meditation is on releasing fear.
Bring your attention to the present moment.
Focus on the sensations in your body,
The sounds around you,
And the feeling of the air moving in and out of your lungs.
Now imagine yourself standing on the edge of a beautiful calm lake.
The water is still and clear,
Reflecting the blue sky above.
Feel the peacefulness of this place wash over you.
As you gaze out over the lake,
Notice any fears or worries that are weighing on your mind.
Allow yourself to acknowledge them without judgment or resistance.
Now visualize those fears and worries as stones that you are holding in your hands.
They are heavy and burdensome,
But you know that you can release them.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Toss one of the stones into the lake.
Watch it sink down into the depths,
Disappearing from view.
As you let go of each stone,
Let that represent the release of one of your fears and worries,
And trust that you are supported by the universe.
Take a few more breaths,
Inhaling peace,
And exhaling any remaining tension or anxiety.
Remember that it's natural to feel fearful or worried during menopause,
But by practicing this meditation regularly,
You can learn to let go of these feelings and find inner peace.
And now,
In your mind's eye,
I want you to picture your beautiful face.
And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me,
Out loud.
I release all fear and worry about menopause and trust that my body knows what it needs.
I am strong and capable of navigating the changes that come with menopause.
I trust that my body is doing exactly what it needs to do during this transition.
I choose to focus on the positive aspects of menopause and embrace the opportunities for growth and transformation.
I release all negative thoughts and feelings about menopause and choose to approach it with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
I am grateful for this opportunity to embrace a new phase of life and all the possibilities it brings.
I trust in my body's ability to heal and adapt during this time of transition.
I release all anxiety and stress about menopause and choose to live in the present moment with peace and calm.
I am open to receiving love and support from those around me during this time of change.
I embrace my inner wisdom and trust that it will guide me through this journey with grace and ease.
When you are ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Roll your shoulders back and down.
Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.
Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
