Welcome fellow menopause sister.

I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.

My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.

Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.

By promoting relaxation,

Reducing stress and anxiety,

And improving sleep and mood,

Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.

Today is day number two.

Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And then exhale through your mouth,

Helping your entire body to relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.

The focus for today's meditation is about managing the stress that can happen during menopause.

Listening to meditations such as this is an awesome tool to help you feel grounded and reduce those stress levels.

Menopause is a natural and inevitable part of the aging process for us women and it can be a very stressful time.

It is essential to accept the changes that come with menopause because resisting or denying them can cause unnecessary stress,

Anxiety,

And even depression.

Whereas accepting these changes and embracing our new phase of life and seeing it as an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery allows us to adapt to our new physical and emotional state,

Which will reduce stress and improve our overall well-being and allow us to enjoy a fulfilling life.

In your mind's eye,

I want you to visualize a calming,

Peaceful place where you feel at ease,

Happy,

Safe,

And relaxed.

This could be a beach,

A forest,

Or even a cozy room in your home.

Imagine yourself surrounded by calming energy,

Feeling the peace and tranquility that surrounds you.

Feel the tension leaving your body with every breath.

As thoughts pop into your head,

Think of them as clouds just passing by.

Think of how resilient you are and that you have the ability to bounce back from challenges and any setbacks.

You are adaptable.

You have the ability to adjust and cope with changes.

You have an inner strength to face difficult situations.

You can be patient and you have the ability to remain calm and composed during stressful times.

You feel empowered because you are taking control of your life and making informed decisions.

You have so much wisdom and insight gained through experience.

You view this time as an opportunity for personal development and self-discovery.

And you are full of courage,

Which allows you to face challenges with bravery and determination.

Think of other stresses you've had to deal with over the years and how you were able to manage those situations or events.

Know that you are stronger and more resilient than you know.

You are capable of dealing with any stress that comes your way and that this transition is a natural part of your journey.

Bring this feeling of peace and tranquility with you as you go about your day and always remember just how strong and capable you really are.

And now in your mind's eye,

I want you to picture your beautiful face.

And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me out loud.

I am capable of handling anything that comes my way.

I trust my body to go through this transition with ease.

I am in control of my thoughts and emotions.

I choose to focus on positive thoughts and let go of stress.

I am strong and resilient and I can overcome any challenge.

I am deserving of self-care and prioritize my well-being.

I trust the process of my body adjusting to this new phase of life.

I release any negative thoughts and allow positivity to flow through me.

I am grateful for this new phase of life and the wisdom it brings.

I am confident in my ability to navigate through menopause and emerge stronger.

When you are ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Roll your shoulders back and down.

Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.
