Welcome fellow menopause sister.
I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.
My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.
Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.
By promoting relaxation,
Reducing stress and anxiety,
And improving sleep and mood,
Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.
Today is day number three.
Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.
Close your eyes.
Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And then exhale through your mouth,
Helping your entire body to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.
The focus for today's meditation is on managing pain.
Bring your attention to the present moment,
Focusing on sensations in your body and the rhythm of your breath.
If your mind starts to wander,
Gently bring it back to your breath and the present moment.
As you breathe in,
Visualize a soothing,
Healing light filling your body and alleviating any pain or discomfort you may be experiencing.
Imagine this light spreading throughout your entire body,
Bringing a sense of peace and calm to every cell.
And as you exhale,
Visualize that healing light beginning to fade and moving down through your body,
Taking any pain and discomfort with it as it flows out the soles of your feet into the earth.
And repeat this visualization as you inhale.
Visualize the soothing,
Healing light filling your entire body and alleviating all your pain and discomfort.
And feeling a sense of peace and calm in every cell.
And as you exhale,
Visualize this healing light as it begins to dim and flows down through your body,
Taking any pain and discomfort with it and flows down your legs and out the soles of your feet and into the earth.
Be patient with yourself as you use this tool to help manage your pain.
And now in your mind's eye,
I want you to picture your beautiful face.
And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me out loud.
I am strong and capable of managing the discomfort of menopause.
My body is going through a natural transition and I am patient with myself.
I honor my body's needs and take good care of myself during this time.
I trust my body's ability to heal and balance itself during menopause.
I am surrounded by love and support as I navigate this chapter of my life.
I am grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn from this experience.
I release any negative thoughts or feelings about menopause and embrace this new phase of life.
I am empowered to make positive changes that will help me feel better during menopause.
I focus on the present moment and find joy in small pleasures.
I am kind and gentle with myself as I go through this transformative process.
When you are ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Roll your shaders back and down.
Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.
Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
