Welcome fellow menopause sister.

I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.

My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.

Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.

By promoting relaxation,

Reducing stress and anxiety,

And improving sleep and mood,

Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.

Today is day number 7.

Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And then exhale through your mouth,

Helping your entire body to relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.

The focus for today's meditation is on letting go.

In your mind's eye,

See yourself standing at the edge of a river.

This river represents the flow of your life,

Including the changes that are occurring during menopause.

Take a moment to acknowledge any emotions or thoughts that arise as you contemplate these changes in your life.

Allow yourself to feel these emotions without judgment.

As you watch the river flow,

Imagine placing your worries and fears on a leaf and letting them float downstream.

Visualize yourself releasing these thoughts and emotions with each exhale.

As you continue to breathe deeply and release your worries,

Imagine the river becoming wider and calmer.

This represents the peace and calm that can come from letting go.

Take a moment to focus on your breathing and feel the peace and calm that surrounds you.

Remember that you can return to this peaceful state whenever you need it.

Letting go is a process that takes time and patience.

Be kind to yourself as you navigate the changes of menopause and use meditation as a tool to support your emotional and physical well-being.

And now,

In your mind's eye,

I want you to picture your beautiful face.

And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me out loud.

I am releasing old patterns and embracing new beginnings.

I trust the natural process of my body and mind during this transition.

I am letting go of the past and moving forward with grace and ease.

I am grateful for the wisdom and experiences that have brought me to this point in my life.

I am open to new opportunities and adventures that await me.

I am releasing any negative self-talk and replacing it with positive affirmations.

I am letting go of the need to control everything and surrendering to the flow of life.

I am embracing change and seeing it as an opportunity for growth.

I am letting go of societal expectations and living authentically as myself.

I am accepting myself and my body as it is and showing myself compassion and love.

When you are ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Roll your shoulders back and down.

Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.

Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
