Today’s meditation invites you to cultivate a sense of gratitude for the wisdom and experiences gained throughout your life. Through deep breathing and introspection, you are guided to release societal expectations and personal judgments surrounding aging and to embrace the natural process with love and compassion. By connecting to the present moment and visualizing a future filled with vitality, purpose, and fulfillment, you can transcend any fears or insecurities related to getting older. This meditation serves as a gentle reminder that aging is a badge of honor and is denied to many. It symbolizes a life well-lived, and an invitation to step into a new phase of self-discovery, authenticity, and profound inner beauty. Melissa

Welcome fellow menopause sister.

I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.

My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.

Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.

By promoting relaxation,

Reducing stress and anxiety,

And improving sleep and mood,

Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.

Today is day number 9.

Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And then exhale through your mouth,

Helping your entire body to relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.

The focus for today's meditation is on making peace with aging.

I want you to bring your attention to your thoughts.

Specifically your thoughts about aging.

Notice any negative or fearful thoughts that may arise.

Instead of pushing them away,

Allow them to be present and observe them with curiosity and non-judgment.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine a warm gentle light surrounding you,

Bringing a sense of peace and calmness to your mind and body.

Focus on your breath and the present moment,

Letting go of any worries about the future or regrets about the past.

Embrace the present moment and appreciate the beauty and wisdom that comes with aging from all the experiences we've had.

Remember that aging is a natural process and a privilege that not everyone is granted.

It is an opportunity to grow,

Learn and experience new things.

Bring the sense of peace and acceptance you have cultivated into your daily life and continue to embrace the beauty of aging with grace and gratitude.

And now in your mind's eye,

I want you to picture your beautiful face.

And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me out loud.

I embrace the natural process of aging and trust that my body knows how to navigate menopause.

I am grateful for the wisdom and experience that comes with aging and menopause.

I am deserving of love,

Respect and care regardless of my age or physical changes.

I am proud of my journey and the challenges I have overcome to reach this point in my life.

I am confident in my ability to handle the changes that come with menopause and adapt to new ways of being.

I choose to focus on the positive aspects of aging and menopause,

Such as the freedom to live my life on my own terms.

I am surrounded by love and support from my family and friends who accept me for who I am regardless of my age.

I am open to new experiences and opportunities that come with this stage of life and I embrace the growth and transformation that they bring.

I honor and respect my body and I take good care of myself through exercise,

Nutrition and self-care.

I trust that my journey through menopause is unique and beautiful and I am grateful for the peace and clarity that it brings.

When you are ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

And exhaling through your mouth.

Roll your shoulders back and down.

Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.

Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
