Let's take a moment to get comfortable.
Find a quiet space where you can sit or lay down without distractions.
If you're in a seated position,
Keep your back straight but relaxed.
If you're lying down,
Let your body sink into the surface beneath you.
Let's start with a few deep breaths,
Inhaling deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
And exhaling slowly through your mouth.
Let's do this a few more times.
Inhale.
Hold for a moment.
Hold for a few more moments,
And exhale.
With each breath,
Feel your body becoming more relaxed and more at ease.
As you continue to breathe,
I want you to bring your awareness to your body.
Notice any areas of tension and consciously relax those muscles.
Allow your shoulders to drop,
Your jaw to soften,
And your forehead to smooth out.
Now I invite you to visualize a warm,
Glowing light above your head.
This light represents openness and receptivity.
As you inhale,
Imagine this light slowly descending,
Filling your body with warmth and comfort.
With each breath,
Feel this light expanding.
Pushing out any doubts or fears that may be blocking your ability to receive.
Picture yourself as a vessel,
An open cup ready to be filled.
With each breath in,
You are inviting in guidance,
Wisdom,
And messages that are meant for you.
With each breath out,
You are releasing anything that no longer serves you.
As you sit in this space of openness,
What do you wish to receive?
What guidance are you seeking?
Allow these questions to float in your mind as you continue to breathe deeply.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment and the environment around you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
By practicing openness,
You're not just passively waiting for guidance.
You are actively inviting it into your life.
