Hello friend,

I'm glad you're here for a short meditation to breathe and be in the moment.

Taking the time to ground yourself with your breath allows you to move from your mind and thoughts and into your body,

Allowing the two to connect.

Letting our breath be calm and our minds will follow.

Pay attention to your breath.

Feel your breath moving in and out of your body.

Connect fully to the awareness of your body by focusing on the sensation of your breath.

Take a slow,

Deep breath and hold as you count 5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Release your breath slowly.

As you relax and release any tension in your body.

Let your face relax.

Your shoulders soften.

Your fingers and toes are loose as you let go of any stress.

Take another deep breath.

Hold for a count of 5,

4,

3,

2,

1 and gently release your breath.

As you inhale again slowly,

Holding for 5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Exhaling any remaining stress.

Breathe in calm.

Count 5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Breathe out any self-doubt or anxiety.

Return your breath to its natural rhythm now.

Notice how your body feels and how it feels differently than when we started.

Thank yourself for this moment of self-care by appreciating the calming power of your breath as you reconnect with your inner peace,

Strength and wisdom.

This day is yours my friend.

Thank you.
