In order to teach meditation most effectively it is best that you are established in the meditative awareness and have unfolded this within yourself. Meet your Teacher

Shree has come to realize that the peaceful meditative state is our true nature. She speaks and writes with clarity and wisdom as to how one can unfold this awareness and transform one’s life. She is a certified meditation instructor from the International Meditation Institute, Himalayas, India, where she has spent over twenty years in self-inquiry and study. Shree has been teaching meditation since 1985 and is now known as a teacher of teachers. Shree received her master’s degree in counseling psychology and has practiced in Florida for many years as a licensed mental health counselor (#3015), specializing in stress management and meditation. She is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. She is currently the Director of Transformation Meditation, an internet-based institute providing continuing education books and course manuals on meditation and yoga philosophy.

Lesson 1

Introduction to Teaching Meditation

Shree guides you in the process of alternate nostril breathing. This method brings about an automatic calming effect for the body and nervous system. Lesson 4

Transformation Meditation Foundation Series Classes 1-3

This gives you instructions on how to set up your classes with the lesson plans for the first three classes in your series. It starts from the first class where you are getting to know your group or student and brings you through to the fourth session of understanding sound vibration and mantra. The Infinite Peace audios in lessons 2 and 3 will guide you through the techniques so you can share them with your students and this audio in lesson 4 will give you the content from the benefits of meditation, the stress response, and the difficulties and troubles that arise for the meditator. And brings you to the de-identification process and the understanding of mantra and sound.

Lesson 5

Infinite Peace: Deep Relaxation

Shree guides you into yoga nidra, deep relaxation. This is experience is known in the yogic system as pure space. It is when all the thoughts are absorbed for some time in the space of Pure Beingness, similar to deep sleep. In deep sleep, you are blessed and in yog nidra you are awake but totally relaxed. Through this guided practice you will become familiar with these instructions to be able to guide your students in this technique. This method has also been shown to be one of the best techniques to help those who have trouble sleeping.

Lesson 6

Infinite Peace: Three Breathing Techniques and Meditation

This will give you the knowledge of how to guide your students into a full program of breathwork and meditation. You will be guided in abdominal, deep yogic breath, alternate nostril breathing, and kumbak, breath retention. Then you will be guided in various methods to allow your students to be able to most easily and effectively get into breath and mantra meditation to receive the maximum benefits.

Lesson 7

Transformation Meditation Classes 4-5

Classes four and five give you an understanding of the sound vibrations that come from repeating the mantra. This meditation is a technique that allows them to see the mantra coming from the center of the space in front of their closed eyes and attend the Knower, the one who is knowing the mantra coming from the center of the space. This is practiced in the Infinite Peace recording. The fifth class is a full session of deep relaxation, breathing techniques, and meditation as practiced in the Infinite peace audio lessons 5.

Lesson 8

Infinite Peace: Mantra of the Whole, Om Poornamida Chanting

The Om Poornamida Mantra is in Sanskrit which is a vibration language whereby the meaning is experienced through hearing or singing it. The meaning is, you are the whole and nothing can be added to you to make you any greater, and nothing can be taken away to make you any less. I always end the classes with this mantra so that the students will enjoy this vibration and meaning in their own system throughout the day. You can sing it with them or play this recording.

Lesson 9

Transformation Meditation Teacher Training Intermediate Sessions

This intermediate session contain knowledge from the Patanjali Yoga Sutras and more advanced breathing techniques This includes: four stages of mantra meditation, four types of pain, the troubles that arise for the meditator, the gunas (human qualities), and the solution to all of these pains and troubles. Plus the Eight Limbs of Yoga culminating is samaadhi (transcendence in meditation).
