Cultivating The 10 Paramitas - by Moun D'Simone

COURSE

Cultivating The 10 Paramitas

With Moun D'Simone

Over the next 10 days, you will learn about each of the 10 Paramitas, which, according to Buddhist philosophy, are the 10 natural qualities of the heart. They are also known as the 10 Perfections, because with mindful practice they can be perfected and become a guiding force to support how we show up, and embody the most authentic, loving version of ourselves. We can lean on the Paramitas when we are challenged, allowing these innate qualities to open us up to healing, forgiveness, growth, and compassion in our lives. Think of each Paramita as a seed, that through the practices and wisdom you'll learn in this course, you can nurture into beautiful blossoms in the garden of your heart. The 10 Paramitas are Generosity, Moral Integrity, Renunciation, Wisdom, Persistence, Patience, Truthfulness, Determination, Loving-kindness, and Equanimity. They each inform and help us develop our best qualities, so we can be of benefit to ourselves and all beings. You are worthy and filled with potential. By training your mind and developing these qualities in your heart, you'll begin to realize that you have a power beyond measure. Through this course, you'll release mindsets and habits that no longer serve you, creating space for your Paramitas to activate and expand. You'll gain new wisdom and practices to carry forward toward your freedom. Your understanding and connection to your natural qualities will inspire you to continue to show up, heal, transform, and be of service.

Tenth Paramita: Equanimity

In the final lesson of this course, I will introduce the concept of equanimity, or mental equilibrium. We will delve into the various ways this manifests in our lives and our interactions with others and become acquainted with new ways to nurture our own innate inner poise, to keep a sense of calm within any chaos we may encounter. I will then share with a set of powerful affirmations to help you cultivate a sense of inner balance and ease to help you navigate life’s ups and downs and remind you how everything is simply passing by us, if we allow it to.
