My name is Munda Simone.
Welcome.
It's an honor to be here and guide you through a gratitude practice.
Gratitude is a loving acknowledgement for all that supports us.
Gratitude reminds us of our abundant nature and strengthens our resilience muscle.
It helps us to rejoice on simply being alive.
It is confidence in life itself.
With gratitude,
Joy grows and it awakens our benevolent heart.
We'll begin by taking a comfortable seat,
Allowing yourself to sit quietly and at ease,
Your body to be relaxed and open and the spine to be nice and long.
Allowing the eyelids to rest closed or find a space in front of you to gently gaze at,
Hence to be resting anywhere that feels most comfortable to you,
Your chin to be parallel to the ground and the jaw is relaxed.
And now taking a few long breaths in and out through your nose,
Rounding your attention on the sensations of breathing in your body right at the tip of your nose and for a few moments simply noticing the breath right there at the tip of your nose.
And now saddling your attention in your chest area around your heart,
Focusing on feelings of love,
Compassion,
Empathy and forgiveness.
And let yourself begin to acknowledge all that supported you,
Having the courage to rejoice on our own abundance and the abundance of others.
And we'll begin expressing our feelings of gratitude.
I'm thankful for my life.
I'm thankful for my breath.
I am thankful for all organs,
Muscles,
Joints,
Every bone,
All parts of my body.
I am thankful.
I am thankful for all that my body does to keep me here,
Healthy,
Thriving and alive.
I am thankful for my health.
I am thankful for my community,
My friends,
My family,
Near or far,
I am thankful.
I am thankful for all who have supported me in my life.
I am thankful for Mother Nature,
For the sun and the moon and all elements.
I am thankful for all creatures,
All fish in the sea,
All birds in the sky.
I am thankful for every step I have taken to be here today.
I am thankful for my capacity to love.
I am thankful for my ability to forgive.
I am thankful for my ability to reflect on all that is already here.
I am thankful for my choice to be here today.
I am thankful for all the healing and love I am experiencing.
I am thankful for all the love and care I am receiving.
Taking a few moments to reflect as you align yourself with the feelings of gratitude,
Acceptance and compassion.
Gratitude for all that is already here within and around you.
Gathering your attention back to your breath as we begin to bring our practice to a close.
Gently blinking your eyes back to open.
