Hello,
Welcome to this meditation.
This is for anybody who's new or returning.
At one point in this meditation I'm going to give you the opportunity to receive Reiki.
Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique that can promote healing in the body.
The way that works is we have energy in our bodies and sometimes when we have stress or trauma that we aren't properly releasing or digesting it gets trapped and stored in the body.
And so that can look like anxiety or depression,
Right,
Manifests into a heaviness.
It can also cause dis-ease in the body and physical ailments like digestive issues or headaches,
Lower back pain.
So if you're experiencing anything but alignment right now,
You can definitely receive something profound today,
Nothing required of you other than to be open.
Reiki is an energy transfer,
Right,
So the practitioner is acting as a conduit and can transfer that life force energy to your body so that it can now flow more freely,
Release some of that heaviness.
This can be done through the ether,
Over this track.
Energy is not limited to in-person transfers so I invite you to stay open.
I'm recording this after I did the recording for the meditation and I felt strongly that some of you are receiving amazing,
Amazing healings.
So why not let it be you today?
Open your heart,
Lay down,
Put some pillows under your knees to support that lower back,
Place your palms upward towards the sky,
Let those eyes drift close and receive today.
Let's begin by taking some deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Don't be afraid to make noise with your breath.
The breath is your life force energy,
It's cleansing.
Sigh it out,
Fully releasing the heaviness,
The stagnancy from earlier today,
From yesterday,
Anything that you might be holding onto in your body.
Keep breathing just like that.
Deep inhale,
Filling the belly,
Fill the chest,
Hold at the top for a moment.
In a long slow exhale for 5,
4,
3,
2.
Deep inhale,
Fill the belly,
Chest and hold.
Exhale 5,
4,
3,
2.
One more like that,
Fill the belly and the chest,
Hold,
Feel yourself expand,
Taking up more space and exhale 4,
3,
2,
1.
Come to a normal breathing and just checking in with your body right now.
Meditation is not about stillness,
It's not about perfect silence.
So rather than pushing thoughts away or physical sensations or even distractions,
I invite you to sit with whatever is present today.
Meditation being about awareness only,
Just for this moment.
Completely neutral,
Non-judgmental awareness.
Because when is the last time you allowed yourself to be where you were at?
When is the last time that you allowed yourself to feel less than perfect and still sat with yourself and listened with compassion?
Gift yourself these few moments to just be.
There's nothing to do,
There's nowhere to go,
Nobody needs your immediate attention right now.
Commit this time to just receive.
This is for you.
Coming back to the breath whenever you drift off.
Dropping into the body now,
Let's relax the shoulders.
Notice if they're scrunched up at all,
Lower them an inch down the back.
Releasing the jaw and the back of the neck,
The eyebrows.
Notice if the lower back is clenching at all,
If the belly feels tight,
If the chest feels closed.
Continuing to breathe and expand in the areas that feel tense.
Send breath there,
Send your life force energy.
Visualize your breath like a river.
It's flowing through your body from head to toes.
And let everything heavy flow through you and out through the bottoms of the feet.
I am sending you energetic healing through this track.
If you would like to receive,
Simply whisper yes to get into alignment and let it in.
Opening up through the collarbone,
Letting that heart space,
Be filled.
Maybe finding that there isn't much space to receive,
That there's some things that need to be released first.
And note that you're safe to let all of that come up,
Whatever that looks like for you today.
Deep breath.
Whenever you have found yourself on this track is the right time for you.
And I feel like lately things have been really chaotic in the world,
Individually,
Collectively.
What we tend to do is isolate ourselves in these times to not reach out for help.
When really we're all grieving together in different ways.
So know in this moment that you're not alone.
That there are actually many other people listening to this very track,
Having their own experience here.
That your energy is actually a contribution to this recording.
All time and space occurs in one moment.
And so the fact that you are here listening affects how this energy moves through.
This is designed to be.
No matter how lonely you felt,
Know that you have an army of angels and ancestors and guides under the Most High who are cheering you on,
Who have seen your progress,
Who have seen your trials.
No,
You have not gone unnoticed,
My love.
Feel your body activated.
All your sounds.
May generational curses be broken.
May anything attached to you be free.
May your heart expand.
And just say,
You are fully safe.
Inhaling through the top of the head and out through the bottoms of the feet.
Let Mother Earth take all of the heaviness.
Maybe you'd like to place your hands over a certain area,
Your forehead,
Your chest,
Your belly,
Your hips.
Practice of energy healing is about being a conduit.
You can practice this right now.
Let energy just flow through.
Continue to breathe.
Nothing hanging on.
Let it come.
Let it go.
Sometimes throughout life we have stress or trauma that doesn't get properly digested or released.
And what happens is that energy gets trapped and stored in the body.
The body remembers.
See if you can tap into the body,
Let it speak to you.
What is it saying?
Again,
Not pushing away any sensation or frustration.
Simply sitting with it,
Breathing into it.
Just being in the question of what is this here for?
Let it go.
See if you can pinpoint a baseline,
The source of where energy starts to catch in your body.
Try not to judge the location.
Maybe it's in the base of your spine and your hips,
Your belly,
Maybe in your chest or your forehead,
Maybe in your limbs,
Maybe your hands feel tight,
Like you've been gripping something.
Take a deep inhale into your body,
Squeezing all muscles as tight as you possibly can,
Clenching.
And as you exhale,
Release.
One more time,
Clenching all your muscles,
Making fists,
Scrunching your shoulders,
Your face.
Hold that breath.
Sigh it out,
Release all tension.
And simply receiving light.
Know that you are made of light.
You don't have to be afraid of the darkness.
All this comfort is here to tell us something about ourselves so we can embody even more light.
You're not here to suffer,
My love.
Let Mother Earth take anything else now.
And just imagine a violet or iridescent or white light encircling your body,
Filling you.
Take up more space now.
Expand the body.
Take up more space in the body.
See this light sealing and protecting you.
Know that only light is welcome here.
If you're laying down,
Go ahead and bring your knees to your chest for a little squeeze,
Releasing tension in that spine.
And then maybe rocking over to one side in a fetal position to the right or left.
Wherever you are,
Wrapping your arms around yourself for a moment.
Really wrap your arms tightly.
And thanking yourself for showing up to your practice today.
Really acknowledge yourself.
You did so good.
I'm so proud of you.
And I thank you for sharing your energy with me today.
