Here is a quick meditation to prepare you for a deep and restful sleep. Together, we will do a non-judgmental reflection on your day, clearing away any lingering emotions or racing thoughts. Good evening my friends,

Just doing a short meditation,

Clearing the energy before sleep.

I'm going to ask that for the duration of this clearing meditation that you just shift off of your bed just for a few minutes,

And if you're really stubborn then just turning around facing the head the other way,

As to not associate reflection time with the bed or the bed with reflection time,

This is feng shui principle so that we don't encourage the mind to race when we lie in bed,

To think,

Get into bed when we're feeling really sleepy and heavy.

So once you're there just taking a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth,

Cleansing breaths in through the nose,

Through the nose filling the belly and the chest,

Expanding and releasing,

Beautiful,

Deep filling breath,

And let it go nice and slow,

And I just want you to reflect upon your day,

Everything that you did,

How you felt when you woke up,

If you were tired or full of energy,

Try not to have any judgment towards this reflection,

Just noticing,

Breathing,

What interactions did you have?

I'm just going to send you a little bit of clearing energy if you'd like to receive,

Just nodding yes,

Just plucking out any negative thought patterns,

Brushing away any energy that's attached.

I want you to think about one thing that worked today,

One thing you would do again,

Maybe it was an attitude or a choice that you made,

One little thing,

And now bring to mind one thing that did not work today,

One thing that you will do differently tomorrow,

What did not work without beating yourself up,

Just recognizing and letting all of that go,

I just ask that an angel watch over you as you sleep,

That your whole room be filled with a warm,

Compassionate light,

And that your body,

Mind and spirit would get rest tonight,

You are safe to rest,

You are safe to rest,

And whenever you're ready you can get into your cozy bed and fall fast asleep.

Strange combination of a relaxation tape, ASMR, reflection/thankfulness and spiritualism with angels. Not my regular type of Minfdfulness, in fact far from it, but it works. Exceptionally good breathing excercise, too. Thank you.
