
Savoring Joy And Inner Radiance

As you breathe, release tension and invite joy, warmth, and vitality. You will be guided to recall memories of connection and happiness that nourish your body and mind. This gentle visualization supports healing, regulation, and an expanded sense of well-being.

We're going to do a fair bit of visualizing today in the practice,
And if you have a mind that brings in like a picture type of visual,
That's fine.
Some of us have more of a felt sense.
However it happens is fine.
Imagine that you're standing or sitting somewhere comfortable.
You might imagine that you're in a sunny day outside.
Maybe you're standing on the earth and you can feel this solid support of the earth below your feet and sensing into the rootedness through your feet into the earth.
Our roots aren't stationary like the trees.
We definitely have energetic roots.
When we attune to that,
We can feel that.
And from that solid ground,
We bring our awareness up through the legs.
And even if in your physical body you don't stand so strong and firm as you used to,
In our energy body it's a different thing.
Let your feeling of strength come through your legs and then up into your pelvic area,
Your hips,
Up through your belly,
Navel center,
To the diaphragm muscle at the lower ribs,
Up through your chest and heart.
And from the sides of your neck,
Down through your arms and hands,
Fingers and fingertips.
And then up through your core,
Through your chest area,
To your throat,
Up into your nostril area and into the brain and then to the top of the head.
Bring the whole of your body into your awareness.
See,
Feel yourself standing strong and steady.
And then begin to realize there's a stream of golden sparkling light coming down from the top of our head into the brain area.
This sparkling golden dancing light is filling up the crown of our head,
Brain area,
Down into the mouth,
Throat.
Whatever speed is comfortable for you,
Let this golden sparkling dancing light come into your body.
If you were to open your eyes,
This golden sparkling light would be there.
As you're breathing in,
This golden light is coming down into your lungs,
Filling the whole of your chest area,
Your lungs,
Your heart,
Your spiritual heart center.
All of that area is filling with this beautiful dancing golden white light,
Sparkling and moving in your body as it comes down the sides of your neck,
Your shoulders,
The upper back,
Filling the whole area,
Transforming the muscles of the upper back and then down into the arms.
Let yourself really feel into this golden sparkling moving light coming from the top of your crown,
Your head down through your arms to your fingers,
Your fingertips.
If you were to move your arms,
This sparkling light would be flowing in the air,
The space around your body.
There's an abundance of this light and it continues to slide down further into your body from your chest area and your spiritual heart center into your navel center,
The whole of your digestive system filled with this golden sparkling light.
The light is dancing in the space of your body,
Down into your digestion,
Your lower pelvic area,
Your womb area.
This constant steady stream of this beautiful sparkling light dancing in all the cells of your body,
Your arms and now down into the legs as well.
Strong muscles of your thighs,
Your bones,
Sparkling golden white light taking away any fatigue or tension,
Allowing the whole of your legs to be strong and steady and healthy.
Now through your knees,
Your lower legs,
The ankles,
The Achilles,
Your heels,
Your toes,
The tops of your feet and then down into the soles of the feet starting to enter the ground that you're standing on as well.
This whole stream,
Beautiful golden white sparkling light entering through the top of your head and simply releasing down through your body,
Dancing and frolicking and filling the whole of your body with this beautiful golden white sparkling light.
And as this healing light is in the brain area,
Let go of any worries or concerns.
Breathe it in,
Let it come down into the cells of your body,
Into your lungs and your bloodstream.
A riot of golden white sparkling light in your whole body,
Moving with ease.
Maybe you're moving your body or dancing with the light.
Maybe you're feeling into that in your mind,
Visualizing that.
The light coming down through the arms,
Through the fingers and fingertips,
Letting that flow into the space around you or maybe putting your hands on your heart and letting that golden light from your hands join the golden light in your heart.
Moving down through your feet into the ground,
Feeling that light spreading out through the whole of mother earth.
And then from your body,
It can't be contained,
This abundance of golden white dancing light that enters the space behind you,
Behind your back and your heart center,
All around the front.
Through your eyes,
Your ears,
Above your head,
There's this stream of abundant white light flowing through our whole body,
Healing and nourishing.
And if you like,
You could bring to mind the wonder and joy that you've experienced.
Or maybe that you would like to experience or experience again.
Maybe it's the look in someone's eyes,
The way their face lights up as they see you or the way your face lights up as you see them.
Maybe it's something like you're surfing or riding your bicycle or doing something physical that feels so wonderful,
Filled with this golden light,
This sparkling,
Moving,
Dynamic,
Golden,
Warm,
White light.
And let yourself come back into those memories of joy,
Be specific.
Let them kind of scroll through,
Maybe it's one thing for a few minutes or a few breaths and then something else,
It's like,
Oh yeah,
There was that.
That time when,
Bring it to mind in your body,
Your breath,
Your muscle memory,
Visually.
Let yourself really feel the connection.
Maybe you're in a circle singing or chanting,
Drums,
Voices,
Feeling the power of being connected.
Let yourself breathe that in,
Breathing in that golden,
White,
Dancing light,
The feeling of connection,
Of strength,
Of joy.
Let yourself enjoy the experience.
We can refresh our experience of that stream of light coming in from our crown,
Dancing its way through the whole of our body and out to all the space around us,
Into the sky,
Into the earth.
And then coming into something that you'd like to hold in that light.
Maybe you have something challenging coming up or that you're experiencing right now.
Let yourself feel the joy,
The light that fills up this space as well.
This is also here.
You can breathe that in and breathe out everything else.
Breathe in the light and release.
Relax.
Let yourself stay with this.
What are other memories of joy?
Coming into a home where there's a really wonderful meal cooking,
The smell of lasagna with garlic,
Or a warm soup,
Or something that you really enjoy,
Cinnamon buns or something.
Many of us have wonderful food memories.
Let yourself remember care and the nourishment of food.
Feel that in your body.
Notice the smells,
The aromas.
Maybe you're remembering holding food in your mouth and savoring the taste.
Your mouth is filled with this dancing golden white light.
The prana,
The energy in the food is so nourishing.
And then as you swallow,
It goes down and through your esophagus into your stomach,
Into your digestive system.
It's still filled with this beautiful light.
What are other memories of joy?
Maybe it's flowers or trees.
Standing with your back against a tree or with your front,
Your heart,
Your belly button.
Smelling and breathing with the trees.
This synchronicity of oxygen exchange,
Carbon dioxide exchange.
The smells.
Maybe it's sunshine,
The sparkling light of the sun on the rain,
On the trees,
Or the moisture.
Sometimes the whole forest is filled with sparkles of light.
Or the light on the water,
The diamonds.
Let yourself really focus in on the experience,
Remembered experiences,
Or experiences that you could savor that perhaps you're looking forward to,
Or in your mind,
At least we can experience these.
Let your body be in your awareness.
If there's parts of your body that are wanting to be more filled with light,
Let those parts of your body really be nourished by this golden white dancing light.
Let the sparkles carry away any tension.
Anything that's not ideal,
Let the whole area fill with light.
Inviting this healing light to come deeper into our body.
Notice your breath,
Let your body be soft.
And notice your experience.
Is there anything you'd like to bring in and savor a little bit more?
If so,
Bring that back.
Or maybe there's something new coming in.
Your whole body is filled with this constant stream of light coming down through the top of your head,
Filling up the whole of your body.
Dancing and moving and sparkling,
Coming down into the earth,
Out into the space.
And if you're inspired,
Maybe you could make a plan to revisit this sometimes.
You could revisit this exact practice or commit to bringing in some memories of joy,
Connection of health,
Grounded love.
This is here to let your whole body be saturated,
Your whole mind filled with this golden white sparkling light.
Let yourself remember the nourishment.
This savoring of joy and connection is one of the ways that we change our neural networks,
Our whole brain,
Our body.
We change through something like this.
So we could appreciate that.
