Yoga nidra is about deep practices that bring us to a state of calm, alertness, and relaxation. There is a brief explanation at the beginning, then the guided practice begins. Blue Star yoga nidra is in the energy body. This is a gentle guided practice of visualizing a brilliant blue-white light in the 61 points in the subtle body or feeling the sensations. We finish by resting in the field of stillness.

Anchor your attention into this moment through your body and your breath.

And moving more into this witnessing in the thoughts in the mind.

And then on a deeper level,

Bring your attention into your being,

Your consciousness.

However that might be experienced in the moment.

Blue Star Yoga Nidra practice is a way to bring our mind into this state of yoga nidra.

State of calm,

Relaxation,

Alertness.

All we do is the practice.

We follow from one point to the next.

If you have a visual mind,

You could visualize that blue-white star.

Let the light of that radiate out through that area.

If you don't have a visual mind,

Don't struggle with it.

Just bring your attention to that location.

Some people notice a vibration,

A felt sense.

Bring your attention to the whole of your body from head to toes.

Notice your physical body and your breath.

And then notice the space itself,

The space that your body is occupying.

And we begin in the eyebrow center,

Space behind the forehead,

Just above the physical eyebrows.

Let your attention,

Your awareness move from point to point.

Expand your awareness to include the whole of your subtle body,

The 61 blue stars.

Allowing that light to fill up the whole entire space.

Through the chakras,

The joints,

The tips of the fingers and toes,

Be aware of the whole entire body.

And then let your awareness rest in your heart center.

Letting that light radiate out,

Intermingling with all of the other blue stars.

The vibration,

The felt sense.

Rest your awareness there in your heart center.

Notice the stillness.

Let your mind focus on the calm,

Alert,

Awake stillness.

Keeping your attention focused in this moment in time.

Bringing our attention to being,

Our consciousness.

The deep stillness.

There might still be thoughts in the mind,

Let your awareness go below the level of thought.

For another minute or so,

Fully pay attention to the whole of your subtle body,

The 61 blue stars.

The stillness in the field.

And then when you're ready,

Without disturbing the stillness,

Open your eyes.

Let your awareness rest in this moment in time.
