Feel free to close your eyes or lower your gaze,
Whatever feels good and safe for you Just start to take some breaths into your lower belly Just starting to let go on the exhale And just beginning to allow your breath to bring you into your body And just beginning to focus on your breath,
Bring your awareness to it as it moves inside your body And just allowing your breath to go a little bit deeper every time you breathe in And just allowing yourself to release,
To soften,
To let go,
Even just a tiny little bit more with every exhale And just beginning to notice the surfaces beneath you Maybe what you're sitting or lying on,
Perhaps the ground beneath your feet And just allowing your body to let go and be held a tiny little bit more And as you do,
Perhaps you need to move or stretch,
Allowing your body to let go Allowing your body to be held in this moment And just acknowledging all that you are feeling,
All that you are experiencing The anxiety,
The tension,
The emotions Just acknowledging it and allowing it to be there And as you do,
Just beginning to notice where it is in your body And if it's not clear or specific,
Just scanning your body and seeing which part of your body is calling the most to you Maybe it's your chest or your belly,
Could be your head And just beginning to notice where you feel the anxiety,
The tension,
The part of your body that is calling for your attention And so just finding it and starting to breathe into it Acknowledging it might bring up heavy emotions,
It might be unsettling Honouring you for going here and just keep breathing into it Holding you,
Supporting you as you breathe into it and be with it And as you breathe into it,
Really bringing your awareness closer to it Allowing it to be there and getting as close as possible to it And if you can,
Try and make yourself really small And imagine that you're going inside your body next to this feeling,
Next to this emotion Taking yourself inside your body And as you enter your body,
Just get as close as you can to it,
Keep breathing into it It's okay,
Just get as close as you can And as you're there with it inside your body,
What does it look like,
What does it feel like,
What does it sound like?
Just beginning to notice how you experience it from this perspective And however it comes to you is always perfect So just keep breathing into it and be with it And what do you notice as you're there with it?
As you just acknowledge it and sit with it And now I invite you to ask it a question,
Whether it wants to reply or not is always fine Can you ask it,
Why are you here?
And just see what comes And now I invite you to ask it,
What do you need?
And it can be anything,
It might be love,
It might be holding,
It might be something totally different Just allow it to respond to you and share what it needs And again,
If nothing comes,
That's always fine too And so now,
If it's shared,
I invite you to imagine bringing inside whatever it said it needed Imagine it coming into that area and supporting it And if nothing came,
Just keep breathing into it and we'll support it in a moment So now that you've done this,
I invite you to imagine a warm golden light coming down from above And just feeling it enter into your body,
Into your skin,
Into your blood,
Your bones,
Your cells And just feeling it come to the space that you're in in your body And imagine this warm golden light beginning to hold this area Bringing in support,
Healing,
Holding,
Love And so just allow this golden light to enter and to soothe Deeply breathing it in for a moment now And take as long as you need to do this And then when you feel ready,
Just taking a moment to feel into the area And notice how it feels now If you still feel something,
You can ask it,
What else does it need?
Or keep breathing in the golden light And if it feels good and different,
You're very welcome to start to bring yourself back into your body And just beginning to notice the temperature of the air on your skin And the room around you And then just start to bring in some movement,
Really stretching and feeling your body And then just deeply breathing in all the way down to your feet And feeling them on the ground,
Rooting down Allowing your breath to create roots down,
To hold you,
To ground you,
To connect you to the earth And just arriving back into your body And when you feel ready,
You can gently open your eyes and bring yourself back
