This gentle morning breathwork practice supports clarity and productivity from a trauma-informed perspective, without forcing or rushing the body. For this meditation, we move slowly with the breath to help regulate the nervous system, using visualization and affirmations to bring focus and intention to the day ahead. This practice invites you to manifest from a grounded, embodied place—creating clarity not through pressure, but through presence, safety, and conscious breath. Best practiced in the morning, or anytime you need a calm, intentional reset. Song: Grape- The Golden Peas

Hey there,

My name is Lisa,

And welcome to this morning breath manifestation practice for a little clarity and productivity within your day.

Breath work is to learn how to weave life force with awareness.

Prana in Sanskrit is life force,

Vital energy,

Consciousness in motion,

And Ayama is expansion and regulation.

Refinement but not control,

And I think that's so important that breath work can be tricky because as we regulate the nervous system and the science behind this work is so nervous system regulating and creating a sense of CO2 tolerance which equals mental clarity and diving on into the vagus nerve which helps with nervous system calm and regulation.

I think it's very easy also to bring it in the opposite direction.

So this practice,

We're going to take it nice and easy.

We're going to find our natural breath,

Without force,

Without control,

To manifest a little bit of clarity for a day ahead.

So with that,

Find yourself in a nice elongated position,

Whether it be seated or lying on your back,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Taking a nice big deep inhale into the body,

And exhale sighing out,

Breathing freely,

Breathing naturally,

We all know how to breathe for your breath is life,

Noticing if the breath may be like shallow clear blue water,

Or maybe there are deep breaths you are taking,

But let it feel good,

Like an ocean wave I invite you to inhale,

Sending the breath down to the belly,

And exhale sighing out,

Maybe through the mouth,

And if this doesn't feel good,

Simply continuing to notice how you are breathing is more than enough,

But if you wish to continue this depth of breath practice with me,

Feel free to take a nice big deep inhale down into the belly,

Sighing out,

Releasing,

Letting go.

Let's do that two more times,

Taking a nice big deep inhale down,

Maybe towards the feet,

Feeling the belly expand,

Breathing naturally for a moment,

Regulating,

And see how slow you can really take this breath,

Inhaling very slowly,

Feeling the belly and chest naturally rise and expand,

Releasing,

Feeling a softening,

Beautiful,

Breathing naturally,

And you can continue to play with that as well,

Maybe staying here on this level,

But if you wish to take it just a little step further in your practice,

Let's dive on into breath counting,

So we will be inhaling for four,

And exhaling for six,

The inhales will be nice and long as well as the exhales,

So with that,

Take a nice big deep inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Beautiful,

Breathing naturally for a moment to regulate,

Let's try that again,

Taking a nice big deep inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Six,

Breathing to regulate,

Let's do this two more times,

Regulating your breath,

Breathing freely,

Breathing naturally,

And take a nice big deep inhale,

Amazing,

Breathing naturally,

That work is more than enough to allow your body to soften with every exhale,

To know that you are safe,

That your breath is free,

That you are free to breathe,

And how you breathe is beautiful,

And from this beautiful space,

Of just being one with the dancing and freedom of your unique breath,

I invite you to visualize one task you either must do or look forward to doing for your day,

Just one,

Noticing how your breath changes,

How your energetical nervous system or feeling system may change as well when thinking about this task,

To really take those slow steady breaths while visualizing your task for your day,

Know that you have total freedom and choice within your life,

That you get to do this task even if it may present as challenging,

That you are absolutely limitless,

Especially when you are breathing,

And you can approach this task from this space of calm and steady.

In fact,

All tasks,

Even in an emergency situation,

Benefit from moving from an authentic,

Steady,

Regulated place.

So,

Whatever feelings may come up with this,

Let it come as you inhale,

And as you exhale,

Soften on in,

Repeating the affirmations,

I am limitless.

I am exactly where I am meant to be.

I breathe freely.

My breath is my birthright.

Freedom is my birthright.

Breathing in freely,

And sighing out.

You have everything you need,

All strength,

All resilience,

All freedom,

To meet this task from a place of living,

Maybe even thriving.

And I invite you to set an intention for your day ahead,

Maybe it honors the task,

Your breath,

Or something else entirely,

But this is your intention to set.

And with that intention set,

My friend,

Feel free to slowly deepen the breath for awakening,

To bring your awareness into the world around you,

Knowing that this is your world,

This is your beautiful life.

So,

Taking your time and closing the practice whenever you are ready.

I thank you again for practicing with me,

My friend.

Feel free to come to this practice whenever you need.

Take care.

Until next time,

Namaste.
