Just let your body be comfortable.
You can close your eyes if you'd like or soften your gaze.
And now I want you to think of something that went well yesterday.
Did you make someone laugh?
Did you bring a smile to someone's face?
Eat a healthy meal?
Take some time to move your body?
Or send words of encouragement to a friend?
Just thinking of one thing that went well yesterday.
Whatever you come up with is just fine.
Now I want you to bring this experience and what you're grateful for,
Really bring it into high definition,
Making a crystal clear picture in your mind,
Letting yourself take this internal snapshot and just bringing it into higher fidelity.
So what images come to mind?
What colors do you see?
What sounds do you hear?
Just bringing this experience fully to life in your body,
Recalling this thing that you appreciate,
Recalling this success.
How does it feel in your body recalling this moment?
Notice the bodily sensations associated with gratitude.
Does your heart feel open?
Do you feel energy moving up and down your arms?
Do you feel warmth throughout your body?
See if you can magnify these positive feelings you've created.
Can you turn the volume up on these sensations in your body,
Turning them from one to ten and really intensifying this feeling of gratitude,
An open heart,
The feeling of aliveness in your body,
Enjoying these feelings of gratitude in your body,
Feeling them permeate every cell in your body,
Letting your belly be soft and loose,
Allowing yourself to take three conscious breaths into these feelings of gratitude and appreciation.
And when you're ready,
Just noticing where your body makes contact with the surface beneath you,
Feeling the weight of your body,
Feeling grounded here on Earth,
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
