Bring your attention on the sensations of breathing in your body.
And if you've noticed your mind has wandered,
Bring your attention gently back to the breath and the sensations of breathing.
Just settling into your body and into your breath.
Now I want you to imagine a beautiful park or your favorite outdoor setting.
Imagine yourself in this space,
Walk slowly and peacefully around and notice the smell of the trees and the flowers.
The feeling of a gentle breeze on your face,
A gentle scent in the air,
The feeling of the afternoon sun touching your skin and warming it.
That sense of awe and beauty at all you see around you.
Vibrant greenery and lush flowers in this beautiful outdoor setting.
As you continue to walk around this beautiful outdoor setting,
This beautiful park,
You see a bench in the distance and as you approach it,
You notice a radiant and beautiful person sitting there peacefully.
And as you walk closer,
You see that person is you 20 years from now.
And as you walk closer,
Your future self gestures you to come and sit down next to them.
Notice the way your future self welcomes you into this time and place 20 years in the future.
Notice how your future self lovingly puts their arm around you as you sit down to chat.
Feel their presence and calming energy.
As you see the face of your future self,
What do you notice about them?
Get a sense for their essence,
One of pure love and wisdom and knowing.
Now settle in and make yourself comfortable on the bench.
And as you sit,
Begin by asking your future self the following question.
What is it future self that you remember most about the last 20 years?

And just taking a moment to listen to the answer.

Now ask your future self the following question.
What do I need to be most aware of to get me from where I am to where you are?
Just listening to whatever your future self has to share.

Now asking your future self another question.
What is holding me back from experiencing what I want in life?
What is holding me back from experiencing what I want in life?
In other words,
What do I need to let go of to experience the peace and quiet contentment that you embody?
Just listening to what your future self has to tell you.

Now ask your future self a final question.
Is there anything else you'd like me to know or be aware of?

Take in the wisdom of your future self.
