Welcome to this guided sleep meditation called Toby the Magic Cat.
Let's begin in your bedroom.
Please squeeze your pillow and make it fluffy and dreamy.
Then settle into bed now.
Get as comfortable as a cat.
Closing one eye for dreams and closing the next eye for an adventure with a cat that loves the magic of a box called Toby.
In fact most cats do love any box you may leave around.
Toby loves many things just like you.
Listen for the dream has already begun.
Toby the cat loves loves trees.
There is 4.
9 billion in the Amazon.
Shall we go?
Yes,
Time to travel.
In the cat's box of course.
So shrink to tiny a miniature me and say farewell bedroom.
I ask my cat to pick me up and put me in the box together you and me.
And so the cardboard box sprouts a couple of wings on the left and on the right.
We look at each other and say fly fly to the Amazon if you please.
Sometimes the journey getting there is much fun.
For on this night the geese do fly their victory bee in the sky.
They take it in turns to lead.
For it's a big job flying miles you see.
We admired their flight pattern and wonderful sounds echoed in the air.
We head from the starry sky towards the Sun that was rising over the Amazon.
Box and cat and I land at the foot of this mighty jungle.
We look at each other and said picnic and so a picnic basket popped like a popper right at our feet.
Food and drink before we explore we both did think.
As we munched and slurped a little we began to hear new sounds.
Yes the sounds of the Amazon.
Birds were busy singing to each other.
The marching giant ants were early to work carrying the weight of 50 times their body weight of delicious foods to their nest.
We smiled we waved a little and saluted their fine parade.
Crocodiles were basking in the morning Sun smiling with open mouths that didn't close for it helps to cool them down again.
Ride an elephant sounds fun and so we waited until one came along.
But there isn't any in the Amazon.
Oh dear.
Isle of Gardens shall we go?
Toby the cat has changed his mind.
Mind you it would be nice and interesting to look at everyone's garden like down your street or whatever you are.
Well to have a real good rummage or nosy in the best sense.
Becoming invisible would open this adventure.
Or perhaps become a garden bird.
Let's pick a garden bird.
Everyone loves a robin.
So with the power in me and a love for birds in the tree I commend the honor and fun of being a robin.
So me and Toby the cat became two little birds.
Look and feel for you are becoming lighter and lighter.
Look and feel for you are becoming smaller and smaller.
Look and feel for feathers and a beak and birds begin to speak.
Singing a song and one of the most beautiful bird songs is from the robin.
So powerful so big from such a little thing the robin.
And I've just remembered you've got wings.
What excitement your first flight into the air together.
What speed and accuracy with wind your true friend.
Oh by flying over rooftops but wait.
Garden exploring.
Everyone you know and don't know.
What garden ornaments do they have?
Are they tidy or an unloved mess?
Sizes of garden for some are super long.
And what about the tiny ones?
Flowers are important for this world loves them dearly.
Maybe a pond for fishes and frogs and snails and caterpillars.
Lovely fruit trees like apples and pears.
Shall I tell you about my grandparents garden?
This would be 50 years ago who kept pigeons in the back garden.
All kept in a wooden hut and only had one rubbish bin for they recycled a lot.
After all plastic hadn't been invented for tins and glasses and pots were hardy and long-lasting.
They had rows and rows of fresh-grown vegetables with winter veg,
Brussel sprouts and very good for you.
They had a greenhouse full of grapes and tomatoes in summer.
Tall flowers and roses in the front.
A long washing line.
A small shed full of tools to repair things.
A compost heap.
They didn't waste a thing.
Well would you like to imagine your own perfect garden?
How about a swimming pool?
That would be so much fun.
And I think you can imagine a lot about this one.
So good night and dream big.
