Welcome to this guided sleep meditation called Dreaming of the Wind.

Let's begin.

Your bed,

Your pillow.

Your time to feel free as the wind.

Please close your eyes for creative dreaming.

Let's expand the mind that helps to drop all heaviness.

For we are in a way born to be creative.

This energy is so light,

So free flowing like the wind.

To dream of the wind,

Which is a mindfulness story,

We must invite it into the bedroom.

Wind is air.

You breathe this air every day.

Please notice now your deepest breath in.

And blow out like the wind.

Time to invite the wind into your bedroom.

On a windy night,

Soft sounds fills my ears completely.

It feels good to feel the wind so close to me,

Full of lightness.

It reminds me of being in the shower.

So clean and soft,

Water always is.

And so is the wind,

Clean and soft and very fresh.

My invisible playful friend,

It is the wind.

Wind is big,

Possibly the biggest thing in this world.

It likes to touch things and move them about.

From the very ground all the way up to the highest of clouds.

So first I investigate and look down to my feet at green grass.

So tiny each blade of grass that together makes a green carpet so soft.

But wind makes it sway,

All the individual blades of grass begin to sway and lean to the left.

As if bowing to the wind.

Grass leans to the right,

For the wind is in a hurry.

Then I look up sky high and clouds are bopping along on the wind.

Time for some cloud staring.

Cloud gazing can be fun,

For it makes me feel different but good.

I stretch my eyes high.

I can almost feel the clouds that move on the wind.

Makes me think and see the whole world is truly spinning around.

Gravity keeps my feet on the floor.

So wind has a lot of fun with clouds.

Making them big,

Making them small and extremely fluffy.

Between the green grasses and all those clouds leaves one by one drop softly on my head and at my feet.

Wind runs through trees looking for anything loose.

Now autumn the wind plays a game of leaf dropping,

Catching you out of course.

All my clean clothes from the washing machine hang outside on big windy days.

Mothers love the smell of wind on their clothes,

For it smells so fresh and airy.

But hanging washing out makes me think of sails that move ships and little boats faster through,

Yes,

Wind power.

Set sail as a huge fabric catches all the air,

Pushing the ships and little boats forward.

Yes,

Wind travel.

What about the sea,

Succumbing to the wind with ripples and huge waves.

For nothing is still but dancing big style,

Side to side,

Up and down and around and around.

What about the birds smothered in feathers,

And feathers are so light,

The perfect combination for wind.

Air currents,

Wind currents and large flocks of geese and birds will travel from country to country,

Called migration.

How else can a bird reach the tallest of trees without wind as their companion,

Their friend.

And back to me,

For I am not a cloud,

Not a bird or a tree.

But wind runs all around me and through me,

Touching and tickling me,

Feeling very alive.

Goes up my nose before I can think,

Looks down my mouth and throat into my tummy.

Runs through my fingers and thumbs,

Tosses my hair,

And every tiny hair on my skin is pricked up by the wind.

My eyes feel a soft pressure as wind looks me in the eye.

The temperature means wind has been to many places.

Arctic winds may visit me,

So cool,

So very deeply fresh,

That my breath turns to white fog.

Or perhaps a hot wind of Mediterranean heat loosens my clothes and I crave for shoulders and t-shirts.

What about wind beyond the earth,

Into the universe,

All around the planets.

For it is invisible,

But touches everything.

If I blow out now my breath,

My air,

Am I not the wind inside of me too?

For I feel it as I blow my breath on my skin,

A little wind,

But still the wind.

Can the wind send me to sleep?

Be so soft,

Be gentle,

And sway me so quietly,

So I can drift into dreams.

I shall follow the wind into my dreams and play just like you.

Dreaming something special about you,

And something special about me.

So,

As I fall to sleep,

Let wind lift my feet off the ground.

Feel the wind under my feet.

Feel the wind under my feet.

Let me travel by wind and see more different,

Wonderful things.

Full of creativity.

Be in touch with my creative powers and flow like the wind.

Although I am human,

I think I could fly and float on this windy dream.

After all,

It is a creative dream.

Let it take me and be full of lightness,

Exciting to move about like the wind itself.

Maybe I will have some fun.

Explore my mind by wind,

By air.

With a smile on my face,

Let me bond and befriend the wind.

And dream something special about you,

And something special about me.

As I go to sleep now,

And connect to creativity as easy as 1,

2,

3.
