Hello and welcome to your practice.
This is a breathing practice to help you shift your state,
Gain a new perspective,
And continue with your day from a new,
More centered,
More aware,
More awake place.
We will practice breathing into our belly and then moving that the same breath all the way up to the chest and exhaling out the mouth.
So it is like the three-part breath,
But you're not taking two inhales.
Instead,
You're elongating the first inhale that you take into your belly up to your chest.
To begin,
Let's take a clearing breath in through the nose and exhale out your mouth.
Now we'll begin our practice.
Breathe into the belly and move the breath up towards your chest and exhale out the mouth.
Belly,
Move the breath up to the chest,
Exhale out the mouth.
You can go at your own pace.
And if you're looking for more intensity,
You can always pick up the pace.
Keep it going.
If you're starting to feel any tingling in your hands,
Around your eyes,
In your third eye,
Know that that's normal.
That's the energy shifting.
Last three.
Two.
And one.
This time,
Hold it at the top,
Sipping more air through the nose,
Two more sips through the mouth.
Hold it at the top,
Lift the pelvic floor,
Pull the navel in and up,
Tuck the chin into your chest,
Gaze towards your third eye and press the tongue in the roof of the mouth.
Notice all of your energy dancing around your physical body.
Now slowly exhale out the mouth.
See if you can hold the breath out for a few seconds here.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale out the mouth.
And take a moment to notice the shift that your breath has created.
