Hey there,
This is Jen with Laughing Lotus Wellness.
Welcome to our meditation practice.
So welcome you all in to our meditation release,
The fine art of letting go.
This is a yoga nidra style meditation,
So I invite you to find whatever comfortable position is going to serve you best for your practice today.
And making adjustments to your clothing,
Body or props to be as deeply peaceful and relaxed as you can be.
And I invite you to dim the lights or close your shades,
Certainly close the eyes or soften the gaze.
This is a beginner journey inward.
And so beginning today,
Tapping into the inner layers of your being,
Calling awareness into that physical layer of the being.
First a few moments here,
Just noticing what is showing up in the physical body today.
Bringing awareness without any judgment.
And allowing that to just flow away for the time being knowing that everything that we release in this practice through the layers of our being can be picked up on the way out the door.
And so we're going to move into that layer of the mind,
Busy space,
The ego,
Inviting in that awareness,
Just noticing what's showing up in the mind today.
Might be thinking about what you were doing before you got here,
What you're going to be doing later.
So normal.
And as you deepen and lengthen the breath here,
Just release those thoughts for now,
Giving permission to the physical body and that mind body to just step aside for a little bit,
Knowing you can pick it right back up when we're done with practice today.
And then moving even deeper yet,
We move into that layer of the emotions and just tapping into it for a few moments,
Just bringing that awareness to the sense of any emotions that are showing up today.
Again,
Giving that nod of awareness and releasing that as well.
With that nice fluid,
Easy inhale and exhale,
Moving inward towards that wisdom and intuition,
Tapping into that deep knowing inside,
Just checking in for any awareness,
Anything that might want to show up today.
Just giving that some love for a moment.
And then releasing that away as we step all the way into that very inner space of the soul,
Purest consciousness and light,
Checking in with the soul,
Just checking in with how that brightest light of who you are showing up today.
And having released some of those layers of our being,
The physical layer,
The thoughts,
The emotions,
And we move into a space where you just want to be in a pure consciousness,
Right?
Releasing those things that just allow us to really show up,
The purest and highest form of who we are to receive.
And just sinking and settling here into a really deep and peaceful state,
Falling even deeper into relaxation as I count down from five to one.
Five,
Relaxing and releasing.
Four,
Letting go of any thoughts,
Feelings,
Or sensations.
Three,
Falling deeper into relaxation.
Two,
Allowing yourself to be in this peaceful place.
And one completely relaxed and ready for yoga nidra.
As we begin our journey today,
Begin with setting the tone of the practice by creating an intention or using a sankalpa.
Creating your own or planting the seed of the thought that I've created for you,
Using my words as your words if they resonate.
I'm grateful to release into the fine art of letting go of the beliefs,
People,
Places,
And experiences that create strain for my soul,
That I might show up being my unique light and strength in the world.
I am grateful to release into the fine art of letting go of the beliefs,
People,
Places,
And experiences that create strain for my soul,
That I might show up as my unique light and strength in the world.
I am grateful to release into the fine art of letting go of the beliefs,

Experiences that create strain for my soul,

Again making any final adjustments,
Allowing the body to be completely relaxed.
And as we move into this rotation of consciousness,
I invite you to be as still as you can,
Moving only the awareness.
Beginning on the right side,
Bringing awareness and healing light on the right side and the right thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger and fifth finger.
Healing light of awareness in the right palm,
Wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
Armpit,
Waist,
Thigh,
Knee,
Calf,
Ankle,
Heel,
Sole,
Right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe and fifth toe.
Now placing that healing light of awareness in the left side and the left thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger and fifth finger.
Healing light of awareness in that left palm,
Wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
Armpit,
Waist,
Thigh,
Knee,
Calf,
Ankle,
Heel,
Sole,
Left big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe and fifth toe.
Once again,
Bring that healing light of awareness to the right side from up to down.
Healing warm light in that right thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger and fifth finger.
Wasting,
Thigh,
Knee,
Calf,
Ankle,
Heel and sole,
Right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe and fifth toe.
Warmth in the sole,
Heel,
Ankle,
Calf,
Knee,
Thigh,
Waist,
Armpit,
Shoulder,
Elbow,
Wrist,
Right palm,
Thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger and fifth finger.
Healing light of awareness in the whole right side,
The whole right side of the body.
Now bringing that warmth and light of awareness in the left side from up to down,
Beginning in that left thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger and fifth finger.
Warmth in the palm,
Wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
Armpit,
Waist,
Thigh,
Knee,
Calf,
Ankle,
Heel,
Sole,
Left big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe and fifth toe.
Warmth in that left sole,
The heel,
Ankle,
Calf,
Knee,
Thigh,
Waist,
Armpit,
Shoulder,
Elbow,
Wrist.
Warmth in that left palm,
Left thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger and fifth finger,
Healing light of awareness in the whole left side,
The whole left side of the body.
And now bringing that light of awareness to the front of the body,
Beginning at the top of the head,
Radiant energy,
The crown of the head,
The crown of the head,
The forehead,
Right eyebrow and left eyebrow,
The space between the brows,
Right eye,
Left eye,
Right nostril,
Left nostril,
Right cheek and left cheek,
Right jaw and left jaw,
Right ear,
Left ear,
Upper lip,
Lower lip,
The space between the lips,
The chin,
Throat,
Right side of the chest,
Left side of the chest,
The whole of the chest,
The navel,
Abdomen,
Right side of the pelvis and left side of the pelvis,
Right side of the thigh,
Left side of the thigh,
Right knee,
Left knee,
Right foot,
Left foot,
Right toes,
Left toes,
Warm radiant healing light now in the whole front of the body,
The whole front of the body lit in radiant healing light.
And now placing that awareness in the back side of the body,
Just noticing the back of your head and the right shoulder blade and the left shoulder blade,
The whole length of the spine,
Right hip and left hip,
Right seat and left seat,
Back of the right thigh,
Back of the left thigh,
Right calf muscle,
Left calf muscle,
Right ankle and left ankle,
Right heel,
Left heel and now sensing that warmth and healing radiant light in the whole back of the body,
The whole back of the body lit in radiant light.
And now sensing that energetic light at the crown of the head and then the feet,
Holding these two senses together,
Lit up now the crown,
The crown,
The feet,
The feet.
And now as you breathe,
Moving that awareness from the crown to the feet,
Allowing the breath on the inhale to run from the crown to the feet,
Feel the energy moving and exhaling from the feet to the crown,
Moving that energy upwards,
Breathing just like this for a few moments more,
Inhaling from the crown to the feet,
Exhaling from the feet to the crown.
Blocks.
And now imagining you can see your body lit in radiant light as if an energetic light is within you and you can see your own reflection,
Seeing your own body,
Your own light lit from the inside out,
Seeing the soul shining out through the heart space and the whole body is lit in beautiful energy.
Sensing that healing light of awareness in the whole body,
The whole body lit in radiant healing light.
I invite you now on a road trip of your life,
The mind can freely go where intuitively called and move through old ideas of how we are supposed to be.
Releasing the breath,
The concept of should,
Need to,
Have to and clear the body of any old story that anchors you in a place leaving you feeling stuck,
Rigid or gripping.
And in your mind saying to yourself,
I am releasing and letting go.
Inhaling I am exhaling,
Releasing and letting go.
Inhaling I am exhaling,
Releasing and letting go.
And imagine now all concepts you have for yourself,
Your life,
Allowing the mind to deeply connect with places,
Situations,
People and places that may not be for your highest good without any judgment.
Just witness,
Honor and allow the intuition to bring awareness in and forward so you can connect to this.
Making deep connections of what you may release in this time for your journey.
And sensing the energetic release of letting go by imagining and calling in the vision for what it could be like.
What you are intuitively connecting to that feels like the next right step.
The next right move or the next right action.
Breathing here as you invite in that awareness of what is the next right step.
The next right action of what your soul is being called to do.
And as you say in your mind,
On an inhale I release.
As you exhale I want you to imagine what you want to invite in.
So I release whatever it is you need to let go of.
Inviting in peace,
Gratitude,
Kindness,
Intuition.
So as you breathe here cycling through I release whatever it is you need to let go of,
That divine art of letting go.
And inviting in what you need more of right now.
Trust,
Faith,
Grace,
Peace,
Community.
And breathing just like that for a few moments here with the thoughts.
Listening for the intuition.
And making the connection here.
And to let go of things that might feel like a burden,
Make space for things to be different.
And the cyclical nature for all of us in our journeys and our souls to evolve with time.
That what once served,
Helped and supported us might not be doing so anymore.
And perhaps having fulfilled a season in our lives.
And having gratitude and self compassion for that.
And imagining that cyclical nature of release and regrowth that allows us to feel purpose in our gifts in the world.
Allowing you to live into your strengths.
And in this space,
Imagine a sense of your strengths,
Gifts,
Unique talents and light as if receiving a download of information.
Creating an open space right in the crown of the head.
Where healing light awareness and intuition can flow in.
Breathing as you receive the light of awareness.
And what can best be serving you.
And knowing that this means that you will best serve the world.
Breathing here and inviting in that download of awareness.
Receiving that healing light of awareness now.
Notice that that light is pouring over you and you can sense the warmth,
The brilliance,
The healing nature of this light.
The body may experience shifts,
Sensations,
Warmth,
Or experience of cooling,
Clarity and light.
As the healing permeates the body,
Inviting in the wisdom of the soul,
The universe,
And the insight of how you can best release into that art of letting go the things no longer useful so that you can step into your very own brilliance,
Your own light.
And imagine here being surrounded by support,
Love and compassion to hold witness for your soul that you can look around and experience the guidance and space being held for your journey.
Your guides,
Mentors and support system are allowing you the gift of the fine art of letting go so that you might step up into the best version of you with the breath here,
Staying with the moment,
Receiving that loving support.
And sensing the shifts and transformations of having released and let go of things you may have been carrying around,
That lightness and clarity,
Resilience of spirit and soul.
Like the phoenix rising up,
Ready to do this next right thing,
Next right step in action.
Having let go of anything no longer serving.
We return to the sankalpa of our practice,
Sending it even more deeply through the layers of our being,
Using my words as your words if they resonate.

And slowly returning to that earth body,
Sensing the muscles and bones rooted in the physical plane,
Paying attention to how you are feeling,
Just noticing the experience of letting go of the old version of you and having been able to step into the version that is most essential at this time.
That sense of clarity and light,
Energy,
Having been elevated by shedding old messages and stories and bringing awareness to the breath as it expands the chest,
Ribs and belly,
Bringing in vital life force energy.
Slowly and gently beginning to rub the thumbs across the hands of the fingertips,
Wiggling fingers and toes.
You might like to rub your hands together,
Creating some warmth and placing the hands over the heart and the belly,
Just connecting for a moment more here,
Experiencing a moment of gratitude for your journey,
Awareness and growth,
Letting go,
Allowing you to expand into your strength and light and purpose.
And I invite you in this restful place to consider for a moment how you will take this sense of embodying this next version of you,
Having shed some of the excess to become lighter in soul and presence.
As we gently close the practice,
I encourage you to take this sense of letting go when you become aware of how you might be resisting releasing,
To let go of old material no longer needed that you might be lighter and able to more fully live into your soul,
Your purpose and journey here.
I invite you to bring your hands to a prayer position at heart center if that feels good for you as we close our practice today.
The light and the strength in me honors the light and strength in all of you as we release and let go of the old stories that can anchor us in place,
Becoming who we are meant to be from a place of love and light.
