Intrusive thoughts can feel disturbing or repetitive, especially when the mind becomes stuck in an alarm loop. Many people experience them from time to time when the nervous system is under stress. In the next few minutes, you’ll be gently guided to step back from the thought cycle so your mind and nervous system can begin to settle.
