The Spring Equinox arrives as the world awakens from its winter slumber,
Bringing a perfect balance of light and darkness.
Hello and welcome to this Spring Equinox meditation.
My name is Kristen Simons and I am grateful to be joining you today as we reawaken from our winter slumber.
Take a moment to find a quiet space to connect with the energy of this time and balance.
Make yourself as comfortable as possible,
Either sitting up or lying down.
Close your eyes and allow your awareness to settle on your body.
While you are still,
Take a moment to make sure you feel supported and at ease.
Gently bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the subtle sensation that arises as you inhale and exhale.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest and the feeling of it.
Allow yourself to be fully immersed in the present moment,
Letting go of any distractions or thoughts.
Simply be with your breath and allow it to guide you towards calm and relaxation.
Now imagine yourself enjoying the beauty of a fresh spring day.
Feel the gentle warmth of the sun on your skin,
Welcoming the calm and growth that comes with this season of rebirth,
Allowing the fresh spring air to fill your lungs and invigorate your spirit.
Imagine drawing in positivity,
Hope,
And new beginnings with each inhale.
As you exhale,
Release any lingering doubts or fears that no longer serve you.
Let go of the past and embrace the present moment,
Knowing.
Imagine yourself standing amid a breathtaking garden.
The garden is buzzing with life as bees and butterflies flip from one blossom to another.
You can feel the sun's warm rays on your skin as a gentle breeze caresses your face,
Carrying with it the sweet fragrance of the flowers.
As you stand there,
You realize that this garden represents the boundless potential within you.
Wait to feel the earth beneath your feet,
Firm and supportive.
As you take each step towards your personal growth and inner transformation,
You are enveloped in a sense of balance and harmony on your journey towards self-discovery.
Pause here for a moment,
Allowing the seeds of balance to take root in your soul as you nurture them with every breath.
Now gently return your attention to your breath,
Which sustains and nurtures you.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest,
Your body,
And the space you are in.
You may bring small movements to your fingers and toes,
Sensing the subtle energies stirring there.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Carry this sense of renewal and inner peace with you as you move forward into the season ahead.
