Our workdays can become hectic, and if we are not mindful, we lose ourselves in deadliness and to-do lists, allowing tension and frustration to creep in. Allow yourself a few moments to pause, breathe, and resume your day with increased vitality and patience. Music Sanctuary by Maura Ten Hoopen.

Hello,

I am so happy to have you join me for a moment of reflection and stillness during the potentially hectic day.

Inviting stillness for a few moments interspersed throughout the day allows for more mindfulness to flow naturally.

Instead of worrying about deadlines or an out of control to-do list,

We can take a break and regain the sense of flow,

Trusting that all will be completed.

So let us take a few moments to pause,

Breathe,

And resume our day.

Find a comfortable position sitting up with your back straight,

Shoulders back and down for a relaxed posture.

Allow your hands to rest gently in your lap,

Palms down for a more centering practice.

Now allow your awareness to rest on your breath.

Do not change your breath,

Only witness inflow and outflow,

Noticing the texture,

Depth,

And temperature of the breath as it flows in and out.

With each breath,

Your relaxation deepens.

Feel any tension or disease melt away on every exhale.

Rest here for a minute,

Witnessing each inhale and exhale.

If your mind rifts,

Gently shift your awareness back to your breath.

I will mind the time.

Gently begin to deepen your breath.

On the inhale,

Notice how deepening allows more air to flow into your lungs,

Nourishing and reinvigorating your sacred vessel.

Notice on each exhale,

The release of any residual tension in your body as it flows out into the universe.

With each breath,

You feel increased vitality,

Confidence,

And patience.

You are renewed and ready for the unfolding of each moment.

When you are ready,

You may gently float your eyes open.

During the day,

When you notice any moments of tension,

Return to your breath.

It is your anchor to the stillness stillness ever present within.

As always,

I am grateful to have met you on the path.

Namaste.
