Hey,

I'm Kirsten and welcome to this meditation challenge.

Today is day 1 and I'm going to dive breathing.

So I would like to invite you to make sure that you're really comfortable.

You don't have to sit up straight,

Just make sure that you can really relax.

Maybe you want to lie down,

Maybe you prefer to sit down.

Choose what feels good for you,

Okay?

And then when you've found a comfortable position,

I'd like to invite you to close your eyes.

And then you focus on your breathing for a while.

Just observe how your breath is in this moment.

And if you feel that your breath is still a little high,

You can place a hand on your belly to help your breath get deeper and slower.

Just breathe deeply and slow,

Allowing your body to relax more and more.

And then you imagine that you're walking in the forest.

Around you are beautiful trees and you feel the earth beneath your feet.

With every step you take,

You'll feel more grounded and more and more relaxed.

Just keep walking in the forest and keep breathing deeply and slow.

And feel the healing energy of the trees around you and feel how you become more and more grounded as you walk there in that beautiful forest.

And keep walking a little more,

Feeling your feet touch the earth with every step you take,

Helping you to connect with the earth even more.

Feeling more and more grounded and even more relaxed.

And then you arrive at a small open place in the forest.

And there you see a very comfy chair.

It's weird to see a comfy chair in the middle of the forest.

But it's there.

And it all seems so magical and even a little cozy,

Even if it's in the forest.

And this chair looks so comfy that you decide to go sit down on it.

And when you're in the chair,

You feel that it's so comfortable that you relax even more.

And keep breathing deeply and slowly as you allow your body to relax even more.

And sink in the chair a little more.

Feel how you relax.

Feel your breath slowing down in this relaxation,

In this comfy chair.

And now I'd like to invite you to take a deep breath in.

And when you breathe out,

You let go of all the negative thoughts and worries that you might have in this moment.

Now you take another deep breath in.

And when you breathe out,

You let go of any negative energy that you might have picked up from others or from places you've been to.

Just let it go.

Now let's take another deep breath in.

And let go even more.

Just let go of anything that is not serving you.

And continue breathing deeply and slowly,

Relaxing more and more and enjoying your comfy chair.

And then you go with your attention to the center of your chest.

Just go with your attention in yourself.

In the middle of your chest,

There's a tiny but very bright sparkle.

This is your inner sparkle.

This is your inner light.

And just try to connect with it so you can start feeling its energy.

And if you find it difficult to connect with your sparkle or to feel its energy,

Just go with your attention to that sparkle.

Imagine that light in your chest.

Just focus on it and you'll probably start feeling it.

And if you don't,

Don't push it.

It might come later.

Just continue to relax and to breathe deeply and slowly.

And be with your attention with this wonderful light in the middle of your chest.

Your sparkle,

Your inner sparkle,

Your amazing light.

And now that you are connected with this beautiful sparkle,

You might start noticing its energy.

Just observe that for a moment.

Observe how it feels.

Maybe it feels really powerful.

Maybe it feels soft and sweet.

Everything is okay.

There's no good or bad.

This is your light.

This is your sparkle.

And keep breathing deeply and slowly as you feel into the energy of your sparkle,

Of your light.

Now that you have felt this wonderful energy,

This wonderful feeling of your sparkle,

It's time to slowly come out of that chair that you're in,

In the middle of the forest.

To start walking again,

Between all these beautiful magical trees.

And take that feeling of your inner light with you as you walk back to the place where you began.

Still feeling your feet touch the earth,

Feeling grounded and connected with your inner light.

And now it's time to slowly come back to the here and now.

To the place where you're lying or sitting.

And slowly you start moving a little with your hands and your feet.

And then when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
