Okay,
So get yourself comfortable in the space where you're going to be doing this meditation.
Make sure that your body is supported whether you're sitting or lying.
And if you can,
Try to bring your spine into alignment so that there's one energetic line from the crown of your head to the base of your spine.
And then notice your surroundings.
The room that you're in.
Noticing your body.
Noticing any sounds that are with you in the room or outside the room.
Noticing the light.
Noticing the thoughts that you've brought with you today.
And just know that these things may be present throughout the meditation and that's okay.
Just acknowledge them and allow them to be.
And then bring your focus to your breathing.
Noticing your breath.
Noticing the rhythm.
Noticing what it feels like.
Bringing oxygen in.
Noticing how deep and slow your breath can become as you relax.
Trying to breathe that air in and out.
Now is the time to travel to that inner space within you.
Imagining your sinking deep into the earth,
Into a warm,
Dark,
Safe and protected space.
Find yourself deep in the earth like a seed that is ready to grow.
That remains safe and protected.
Feel gently and lovingly by the earth until the moment it is ready to burst forth into life.
Feel the space inside you,
Inside the earth.
Start to find an awareness of any seed that is already there.
See.
Feel.
Listen for that which is inside you.
Which is ready to grow.
And to come into being this year for you.
You might imagine what that seed will grow into.
How it will look as it bursts forth from the earth.
How bright and colourful that might be.
Whether it will make any sound.
What thoughts you will be having.
As this seed within you grows into something new.
How will you feel?
How will your body feel?
How will you feel emotionally?
What wonderful potential is contained in this seed which you nurture within you?
Coming back now to the space deep inside yourself where this seed is held.
Opening thoughts of love and of nurture.
That will cradle the seed.
That will keep it safe while it germinates.
Now might be a good time to ask for insight into what you can do to help this seed grow.
Is there anything you need to change?
Anything you need to commit to?
To nurture this seed.
Fixing now any insights which you have received within your mind.
You can release the image or the idea of the seed.
Knowing that it is there.
Time will grow when it's right time.
Bring your attention back once more to your breathing.
To your body.
To the noises in the room or outside the room and to the light.
And whenever you're ready you can start just to move a little bit.
To come back to the room and to open your eyes.
