The Reiki kotodama or Jumon are sacred sounds which express the energy.

Today we will be practicing with Seihei Ki energy,

Also known as Heavenly Ki and represented by the focus symbol.

The kotodama for Seihei Ki is Ei Ei Ki.

In our practice we will center ourselves,

Connect to the energy of Seihei Ki and breathe the energy deeply in.

The energy center we'll be using today is the heart chakra,

Located in the center of your chest and surrounding ribcage.

If it's available to you,

Please sit upright with your shoulders relaxed and chest open in a posture that is supportive.

When we've breathed the energy in,

We will then release it as a sound on the out-breath,

Making the kotodama Ei Ei Ki in one breath.

We will repeat this nine times and then sit in silence for a couple of minutes to experience the energy we have caught.

This is a chanting exercise and if you're new to chanting you need to know two things.

Firstly,

That the chanting is the expression of the energy that moves through you and secondly,

That it doesn't matter how you sound.

The important thing is that energy and the expression of it.

Please take a deep breath and sense into the area of your heart chakra and ribcage.

Connect to Reiki energy,

Intending that you breathe it in all the way to your heart chakra with your in-breath,

Allowing it to flow from your heart chakra throughout your whole body and energy field with your out-breath.

If you like,

You can place the Sei Hei Ki symbol in your heart chakra or ribcage or over your whole energy system and aura.

Remember the sacred sounds for this energy are Ei Ei Ki.

Breathe that energy in all the way to your heart chakra and ribcage and on the out-breath allow it to vibrate through your space on your voice.

Ki Now we'll sit for a moment with the energy,

Noticing how it feels.

Give thanks to the Reiki energy and intend to release it,

Imagining it dissipating to wherever it needs to be and brushing or shaking yourself off if you wish.

Thank you for practicing with me.

Have a wonderful day.
