So we can take some time just to slow down,
Turn inward,
And connect with the deep,
Quiet wisdom that lives inside of you.
This is the wisdom of your body,
Your intuition,
Your gut.
Once you've found a comfortable position,
Allow your body to settle.
Let your shoulders soften,
Your jaw unclench,
And allow your belly to relax.
Bring your attention to the rhythm of your breath,
Not changing it in any way or forcing it,
But just notice your breath.
Notice the rise of the inhale,
The fall of the exhale,
The natural flow of breath through your nose and throughout your body.
Now place a hand on your abdomen,
And let the slight pressure be a reminder of this space,
A place where your inner knowing lives.
And as you breathe in,
Feel the belly rise beneath your hand,
And as you breathe out,
Feel it soften and fall.
And as you breathe in,
Think,
I trust myself,
And as you breathe out,
Release doubt.
Now inhaling,
I trust myself,
And exhaling,
I let go of logic for now.
And now imagine a soft golden light glowing in your belly,
Just behind your navel.
This light is your intuition,
Your inner guide.
This light begins to spread,
Expand,
Illuminating your inner wisdom,
Awakening that ability to trust your gut,
Bringing clarity to confusion,
And calm to some of that chaos you may have been experiencing.
As you're trying to figure out what it is that you want to do,
Or what path to follow,
And now ask yourself,
What does my body know that my mind has been ignoring?
Where in my life do I need to trust myself more?
What would it feel like to move forward from a place of deep inner knowing?
And don't force an answer.
Just trust that whatever comes,
Whether it's loud and clear or quiet and subtle,
That's your intuition,
Your gut speaking to you.
And now tell yourself three times,
I trust myself to know what's best for me.
My gut feeling is a guide I can rely on.
I release fear and trust my inner wisdom.
My body is wise and I trust my gut.
And together we'll take a big deep grounding breath in,
And a long steady breath out.
Beginning to wiggle fingers and toes.
Coming back to this space around you,
Opening your eyes,
And closing your meditation practice.
I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
