And today we're going to be doing a special meditation.
We're going to do one to help set a positive intention for your day.
And I actually think that intention is so powerful and important that as I was writing this I thought that I might do a companion episode where I just kind of talk a little bit more about intention and teach you a little bit more about it.
So keep an eye on your feed this week for a little something extra special.
So we are going to solidify your intention and cultivate it deep within you.
So if you need a moment you can pause me for a second and think about what intention you want to set.
So something you want to do,
Something you want to cultivate,
Something you want to honor.
Whatever it is basically what is it that you want to really do today.
And that can be anything.
A real to do thing or you know it could be anything.
So take a moment,
Just think about your intention.
You don't need to overthink it.
First thing that comes to mind,
And then just get comfortable,
Relax the body,
Ease the mind,
And just give yourself permission to take this next bit of time,
Just for you and your practice.
And then when you're ready you can begin relaxing the body and clearing the mind.
So maybe you take a few big deep easy breaths.
Maybe you do a little bit of movement rolling out the shoulders or rocking the head from side to side.
Whatever feels right to you.
And then to bring in all of the goodness and nourishment of the air around you.
So breathing in just taking in all of that goodness,
All of that nourishment,
Letting it fill every bit of your body.
And then exhaling getting rid of any sluggishness,
Negativity or heaviness that you have in your body or in your mind.
Just inhaling bringing in light and goodness and exhaling releasing all that is weighing you down.
And just continue to breathe.
And bring yourself into the room and into your body as you breathe.
So if you're feeling scattered or pulled in a million different directions.
Just bring it back into your body back into the space.
Nothing else exists just you and your breath.
And just releasing any tension that you might still be holding on to.
So softening the face,
Relaxing the shoulders,
Letting them just slide down your back.
Relaxing the abdomen,
Unclenching the jaw.
Anywhere where you're physically squeezing or clenching or tight.
Just let it melt like a block of ice under the sun.
Allowing the external world to fall away as you breathe.
Just coming into the space into your body and feel your heart and your mind begin to open.
And now call to mind your intention.
So that thing that you want to cultivate,
Manifest honor or do today.
Make sure it's a positive intention that is designed to serve your highest purpose and good.
Take a moment to reflect on why you chose this intention.
Why is it so important and meaningful to you?
What will help you achieve?
Why this intention?
And then bringing your intention right into your mind and into your heart.
Ask the universe for help.
So you can simply just say universe,
Please help me to bring my intention into fruition today.
Send me the tools I need to succeed.
You can say this a few times if you feel silly doing it the first time.
So universe,
Help me cultivate my intention today.
Send me the tools I need to make that happen.
And then clearly stating your intention.
Feel it move through your body and settle deep into your bones.
Allow it to move through every fiber of your being.
Coursing through you like an ocean wave that just crashes on the shore.
Allowing your mind just to focus on that intention,
Letting it move through you.
And planting it deep within you.
Seeing your intention like a small seed.
Planting it down deep within you.
And then watch as a seed slowly begins to grow.
Until eventually it opens up and blossoms into a tree.
As you watch a seed grow and become bigger and stronger,
Repeat your intention again to yourself.
Anytime it feels like that growth is stopping,
Just ask the universe for help.
You can really root that intention deep within you.
Letting it grow bigger and stronger.
And now in your mind's eye,
Imagine what it'll be like when you've done this thing,
When it's been completed,
When it's in your life.
Just imagine that.
Feel it.
Notice how things will be different.
How will you be different?
As you reflect on these things,
Imagining your life as if this intention is already complete.
Feel it continue to grow stronger within you.
And feel yourself become a magnet.
All of the pieces that you need,
All the tools that you need,
The support,
Anything you need to make this intention happen.
Just gets attracted and drawn towards you.
And just continue exactly what you need to make that intention happen today.
Continue to breathe.
Reflecting on that intention,
Continuing to repeat it to yourself.
Feeling it root down within you.
Growing stronger like that small seed that eventually will grow out into a magnificent tree.
Feeling yourself attracting all the tools,
All the support,
All that you need to make it happen today.
With each passing moment,
You become more confident.
Become motivated,
Energized.
And knowing that that intention that you're studying for today will absolutely happen.
And now one more time.
Repeat your intention to yourself three times,
Feeling it become stronger and spreading out of your body and out into the world around you.
Each time you repeat your intention.
Now take your hands and place them over your heart.
Feel the rhythm of your heartbeat.
Feel your newfound energy.
Your high vibrations,
Your confidence.
Feel it within you and know that deep down everything you need to bring your intention into your day today is within you.
Thank the universe for its help in providing you the tools and opportunities that you need to make it happen today.
And thank yourself for taking this time to get clear on what you'll do today.
And to also take this time to honor your body and your mind and your heart through your meditation practice.
And then take a big deep breath in through the nose.
Open your mouth and just sigh it out.
And then when you're ready,
Blink your eyes open and go and make that intention happen today.
