In this visualization meditation,
We explore future you,
Years into the future.
Feel from the perspective of this future version of you and the gratefulness you have for becoming this person.
Close your eyes,
Breathe in and breathe out,
Relaxing the body and the mind.
You are going to meet with future you,
But first let's take a little more time to breathe into the stillness.
Calming the mind,
Calming the body,
Starting from the head and working your way down.
Imagine you are laying or sitting in a shadow and at just the perfect angle from a nearby window,
The sun comes across your face and you breathe in this ray of sun,
Slowly in and breathing out as you feel the sun's warm and relaxing light.
Continue down to your shoulders and chest and you breathe in again,
Filling your lungs with freeing energy and then slowly letting it out as you are feeling more at peace with every breath.
The ray of sun continues down as you feel your arms and hands relaxing,
Letting go of any tension as you feel even the tips of your fingers getting heavy and relaxed.
The ray of sun is warming and healing as it works down through your organs and into your hips and legs.
You breathe in deeply to take in this warming energy and hold that breath for just a moment and then slowly exhale,
Feeling the release of all tension in the legs and feet as your body is now feeling the peaceful and calming energy all around you and within you.
You are now ready to meet future you as you go to a place now in your imagination that is peaceful and lovely to you.
Maybe it is in nature or a garden or a specific place that you desire to be right now.
Feel the weather,
Note the time of day,
Feel your feet on the ground wherever you are and just take inventory visually of what you are seeing,
What you are hearing and what you may even be able to smell.
As these senses heighten around you,
You are now aware that future you is coming toward you,
Smiling.
This is you several years into the future and as they approach,
You sense completely the wisdom,
The kindness and the peace and the appreciation that is growing as this future you gets closer and closer to you.
This is the you that has already experienced the last several years.
The you that has learned more,
Played more,
Laughed more,
Loved more and lived more.
It is a transformed you.
It is a calming and yet exciting feeling to see this future you and you begin to look more closely at the details of what this ideal future you looks like.
Look into the eyes of this future you and feel the true compassion and thankfulness this you has looking back at you.
Now listen to them tell you about this appreciation for what you did over the last few years to be where you are as this future you.
Hear them say,
I remember when and then you listen as they explain the shifts that started to happen when you started living from the wisdom and guidance of this future you.
All the while feeling the appreciation and love that they are giving you right now.
Now I want you to take a new perspective and if it makes sense to you,
Step into the heart of this future you,
Seeing yourself in their shoes,
Looking now at you.
You are now this future you.
You are now feeling into this wisdom and knowing and appreciation and love that you have for who you are now in this present time.
And you realize that you are this person now.
Living by your highest values.
Living by the true intentions of your heart.
Living in gratitude,
Wisdom,
And love.
And you are feeling so much peace and fulfillment.
Take a moment to be in this abundance and fulfillment now.
Allowing yourself to gain creative wisdom and strength from this future you.
And when you are ready,
You can step back out and into yourself again.
Feeling a sense of peace and strength.
You are right where you are supposed to be and future you is here with you and will be with you moving forward for guidance and strength as you move forward in the days,
Months,
And years to come.
You understand that you can live now from this perspective of this future you and make decisions and take action based on the wisdom and kindness of this future you.
You are the person you want to be.
You are connected and in line with your highest values,
Your highest intentions,
And you feel the fulfillment of your life more than ever.
Feeling the appreciation for your life,
For the people in your life,
And for yourself to choose this fulfillment every day.
Now coming back slowly to the present moment and taking all of this with you and feeling so much better than before.
When you are ready,
You can open your eyes and come back to the now.
