Hello and welcome to meditation.

To start with this practice I invite you to find a comfortable position for your body,

One that allows your body to to feel cared,

To feel loved.

It doesn't need necessarily to be one particular way but just the way it feels comfortable.

And you may want to close your eyes or maybe just find a soft gaze and I'll ring the bell for us to start and to end.

So I invite you to start noticing your body in this moment,

Noticing the sensations that are present.

Maybe you might feel the temperature on your skin.

Maybe you feel the texture of your clothes.

Allowing the body to fully be here,

To be acknowledged in this moment.

With all that it brings,

Whether we judge it as pleasant or unpleasant or neutral,

Welcoming your body just as it is with all that it feels in this moment.

Acknowledging the floor or under your feet,

The chair that you're sitting on.

Even if you don't see it,

You're able to feel the environment,

The space around you.

And you can also imagine that space.

Welcoming through your senses,

Through your imagination,

The space around you.

Knowing that for this space to be,

Where is it?

For the space to be how it is,

Many hands had to work.

Many people were involved in the construction of this space and of the elements surrounding it.

Those that built the building,

Those that built the floors,

The windows,

The doors,

Those that built the chair you're sitting on.

Acknowledging that everything around you requires many others to be there for you.

And maybe offering gratitude to the space that you're in and to all the people,

All the workers that contributed for this space to be as it is.

We depend on each other to do our very work,

To simply be in this space that we are.

We depend on so many others.

And bringing to mind the elements of this space that you're in,

Every little detail that you purposefully put together in this room,

Maybe books that you have around,

Paper that you use to write on.

All of those elements that give you this opportunity to be where you're at,

To learn from the books,

Dependent on others,

Others sharing their knowledge,

Others publishing all the machines,

All the humans behind this process.

And maybe expanding beyond your room,

Beyond your building,

Sensing through the body and through your imagination,

This whole web of connection,

Not only with humans,

But also with the earth and all the gifts that earth gives us for the book to exist,

For the desk,

Or the chair to exist.

We also depend on nature.

So I invite you to expand your senses to include in your imagination all the elements,

All those that contributed for this moment to be as it is,

Offering gratitude to the humans behind this process,

Whomever they are,

And to the gifts of nature that so openly offers us what she has.

And as you expand your awareness to include all things,

All beings that contributed to this moment,

And as you offer them gratitude,

Including Mother Earth,

I invite you to return to this moment.

Acknowledge that in this moment,

Everything is included,

Including yourself.

And so I invite you to also acknowledge all the things that you do,

And all your contribution to this moment.

And you may want to bring your hand to your heart,

Place the palm of your hand on your heart,

If that feels good to you,

And offer yourself gratitude.

Feel your interconnection with all things,

All beings,

With Earth,

The planet.

And as you offer gratitude to yourself,

And receive this gratitude,

Feel this gratitude also coming with your breath inside your body,

Almost as if all beings and nature is also giving you gratitude for all that you do,

For all your contribution,

For things to be exactly as they are,

Right in this moment.

And as you inhale,

Feel the gratitude coming from nature,

From all this web of interconnection back into you.

Allowing the breath inside the body.

Allowing the breath to travel,

Expand,

And relax the body.

Knowing that whatever it is that we do,

However it is that we act in our lives,

We can offer ourselves gratitude,

And we can still continue to improve,

Continue to care,

Continue to love,

Continue to consider ourselves and others and the planet.

And if you had your hand on your heart,

You may want to rest the hand back on your lap.

And just savor this moment.

Savor this breath with gratitude,

With a caring heart.

Being aware of this interconnection,

That we are not alone.

And that we are interdependent.

May this awareness of interdependence,

Of interconnection,

Inform the way you are,

Inform your actions,

Your behaviors.

Savor this moment,

This breath that is shared with you by all others.

Form of this.

] Okay.

Okay.

Running.

You
