This is Jessica and I'll be leading you through your meditation experience today.
You are supported.
You are grounded.
Too often we are scattered and cloudy with our decisions and ideas.
We feel as if we're floating around disconnected from the physical world,
Disconnected from our bodies,
Being carried on a sea of our emotions with no land in sight.
This creates more and more anxiety and the very sea we are floating on becomes choppy,
Disturbing us and our beings.
How often do you feel grounded?
How often do you feel supported?
Do you trust that everything will unfold as it is supposed to?
When we are grounded we feel safe.
We feel bolstered.
We feel anchored into the earth,
Into our bones.
This allows us to find a more centered and focused part of us.
We can see clearly.
We are more productive and efficient with our work,
With our life.
Close your eyes.
Place your feet on the ground.
Feel the bottoms of your feet.
Be fully present with this part of you,
With your legs,
With your seat.
And send your breath down to your feet,
Down your legs.
Begin to feel your body expanding and contracting with the rhythm of your breath.
Draw awareness to your feet and begin to feel a tingling sensation at the soles of your feet.
You begin to notice and feel roots growing from the soles of your feet into the earth.
Allow this process to happen as your roots begin to anchor you into the earth,
Connecting you fully and deeply.
Feel these roots growing deeper and deeper inside the earth's crust,
Inside the earth's mantle,
All the way down to the core.
Feel stable and secure.
Breathe deeply into the center of the earth and feel your energy merging with the earth's energy.
Now begin to feel any pain,
Any anger,
Any frustration leaving your body,
Moving down your legs,
Down into your feet,
Down into the roots,
Flooding all the way to the center of the earth.
Feel the earth's energy absorbing this negative energy,
Transmuting it to strength,
Transmuting it to security and stability.
And then feeling this earth's energy strong and powerful as it begins to draw up into your roots from the core,
All the way up to the soles of your feet.
Feel this energy draw up into your body,
Through your legs,
Into your hips,
Into your belly,
Into your heart,
Into your throat,
All the way up to the crown of your head,
Feeling full,
Feeling connected,
Feeling the earth's energy of grounding flood your body.
You have an overwhelming sense of trust and accept this process.
You feel light yet grounded.
You trust that the earth and the universe are here to support you,
Giving you the energy of support,
Of grounding.
On your next inhale,
Repeating in your mind's eye,
I am.
On your exhale,
Repeating in your mind's eye,
Grounded.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
Grounded.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
Grounded.
Keep repeating for the next few moments.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
Grounded.
Staying for as long as you'd like.
Remember to stay grounded.
Trust that everything's working out for you.
You have all the support you need surrounding you,
Below you,
Above you.
Allow yourself to merge with these energies on a daily basis.
Inhale,
