This is Jessica and I'll be leading you through your meditation experience today.
Letting go.
You feel stuck.
You feel heavy and weighed down.
Being dragged by the unnecessary emotions and thoughts that we hold in our bodies,
Deep in our bones,
Deep into our thought patterns and habits.
Your body feels torn and damaged.
Your mind feels burned,
Scattered,
Overwhelmed.
As you become more aware of these feelings and creations made by no one else but yourself,
You begin to sink deeper and deeper and deeper.
In this depth of your being,
You see a light.
A light that glows within the center of your being.
A light that is your truth.
A light filled with love and support.
Filled with strength and worth.
You feel safe.
What are you holding on to?
What needs to be free?
What is so desperately clawing at your heart?
When we become attached to people or situations,
We get stuck in that feeling.
And our life is experienced through that perspective.
It's like we're immersed in a sea of honey,
Although not quite sweet.
Our energy is quickly used up on the hustle and bustle in our minds as we negotiate our feelings over analyzing our situations.
In order for us to take that step,
In order for us to move forward,
In order for us to create the life we deserve,
We need to see what is holding us hostage.
We need to see what it is that no longer serves us.
We need to let go.
Let go of the gripping.
Let go of the fear that we will not survive without this person or situation.
We need to create space to breathe.
We need to create space to be.
And in that space we are supported.
In that space we can let go.
Close your eyes.
Bring awareness to your body,
To your breath.
Deeply inhaling and exhaling,
Noticing the depth of your breath all the way into your belly.
On your inhale,
You draw awareness to a white light above your head.
Within this white light is nourishment,
Healing energy.
On your inhale,
Breathe in this white light down into your body,
Filling your body from the head all the way down to your toes.
As this process happens,
Notice any toxic energy in the form of negative thoughts,
Negative emotions,
Pain,
And discomfort in the body.
As you exhale,
Release these toxic energies in the form of black smoke.
Feel them moving up through the crown of your head,
Sending them back into the universe.
And the universe will turn this toxic energy into healing energy once again.
Keep inhaling and exhaling.
Feel this light moving through you.
Feel this black smoke of toxic energy leaving your body.
Feel this white light nourishing you deep into the center of each cell of your body.
You feel lighter and brighter in your body and your mind.
This is your truth.
This is what brings you into a space of support,
Of nourishment,
Of healing,
Of safety,
So that you can move forward.
Knowing that all you have is right there inside you.
There's no need to hold on to anything outside of you.
On your inhale,
Say to yourself,
I am.
On your exhale,
Say to yourself,
Light.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
Light.
Keep repeating for the next few moments.
Inhale,
Light.
Keep repeating for the next few moments.
Inhale,
Light.
Keep repeating for the next few moments.
Remembering that this is your true state of love and light.
All the fears and illusions that you have believed over the years that are limiting you are only patterns that you need to break away from.
Anytime those thoughts come into play,
Remembering this meditation,
Seeing that light within you radiate once again.
