A yoga nidra to accompany you through a gentle waking up in the morning: this slow, peaceful wake-up allows you to slowly ease into your day and enjoy the experience of waking up. As yoga nidra guides us to rest between sleeping and waking, waking up can be an ideal time to practice, as we are naturally moving through that in-between state, so we can best take advantage of its magic. You are guided to connect with the rising sun and the beginning of the day through a body scan visualising the sunlight illuminating your body's energy centres, breath awareness with a visualisation of sunlight at the heart, exploration of the opposites sleeping and waking, rapid visualisation of images, and setting an intention for the day ahead.
