Hey friends,
Welcome to a J-backs meditation.
Start by sitting comfortably with your spine erect,
Legs in Lotus or Outlong,
And placing your hands in your lap,
Face up.
Take an inhale,
And release.
Now let's close our eyes.
This meditation will lead you through visualizations,
Where you have been,
And where you will go.
It will focus on all that you are,
Which,
If you are unsure what you are,
Let me first start by saying this.
You my friend,
Are amazing.
You have so much going for you,
Even if you think you do not.
You have lived however many years on this earth,
And are here today.
You have conquered hardships,
You have experienced joy,
You may have had heartbreak or loss.
You have woken up every day,
Even when it's hard.
You have chose yourself,
And you have chose others over you.
You have been sad,
Mad,
Disappointed,
And you've also been at bliss,
In awe,
And full of love and light.
You are your experiences.
You are who you are,
Which is simply incredible,
By just existing as you are.
Now let's take three deep inhales together.
Inhale through your nose,
And a loud exhale of anything you may be holding onto.
Inhale gratitude for where you have chosen to spend this meditation.
And exhale an emotion that has been weighing on you.
Inhale all that you are,
And exhale all that society tells you you should be.
We will visualize two scenarios from our lives in this meditation.
Be gentle with your thoughts wherever they may take you.
If your thoughts become too heavy,
Or your mind drifts away from this meditation,
Use your breath as a focal point to bring it back.
Take an inhale,
And on your exhale,
Think of a time that you felt discomfort.
Whether this be sadness,
Anger,
Disappointment,
Where do you feel this discomfort?
What was the scenario?
Sit with this.
And if your body allows it,
Feel that emotion.
We all have experienced an extent of sadness,
Anger,
Disappointment.
There are times where we think we will never escape,
That we will forever be stuck in this place.
Take another inhale,
And on your exhale,
Release,
Accept,
Or let that emotion wash over you.
Let it just be.
On your next inhale,
Think of a time that you felt true happiness,
Joy,
Pleasure,
Acceptance.
That moment,
Experience,
Memory came to mind.
Feel that emotion.
Allow for a smile to come to your face.
Identify those who are around you.
Your surroundings.
Now,
Where do you feel this emotion?
Is it the same or different from the last emotion that you invited in?
We have experienced so much happiness,
Joy,
And pleasure in our life in so many ways.
Get that feeling to linger,
To cherish,
To just be.
Life comes in phases of highs and lows,
Ups and downs,
Sadness and joy.
You may have had sadness come in.
You may have sadness sitting with you at this time,
But you are strong,
And you have so much happiness ahead of you.
Repeat these I am affirmations with me,
Either out loud or in your head.
I am seen.
I am heard.
I am strong.
I am loved.
I am divine.
Take one last deep inhale,
Taking in all that you are,
This incredible being that sits with you day in and day out.
And exhale the emotions that do not serve you today as you are choosing to serve yourself.
And remember,

You are amazing through it all.
