Hey friends,
Welcome to a JBACs meditation.
This meditation is a gratitude meditation,
Where we will express gratefulness for ourselves and our surroundings.
I'd like you to practice this meditation sitting upright in a meditative posture.
Have your hands like gently open on your knees with your shoulders back and away from your ears as if there is a string pulling you up from your crown.
Take three deep breaths.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose.
Each inhale,
Feel the breath moving through your amazing body.
Feel the sensations of each inhale and where you may choose to send this specific breath to.
Each exhale,
Free yourself a little bit more.
On your last breath,
Breathe out,
I am grateful.
Continue your breath in a way that best serves you.
Use this as your focal point for this meditation.
If your thoughts bring you away from this moment,
Allow yourself to become aware of your breath to bring you back to the present moment of gratitude.
Using gratitude elevates your appreciation for the moments around you,
For the past,
The present,
And the future.
For the experiences we have endured,
To the ones we look ahead towards.
Gratitude to the body we have and for the things we can do.
Always expressing gratitude for what we can do and not for what we cannot.
This meditation allow for your mind to be present and active.
Active towards gratitude.
Watching inside your mind the things you are grateful for within each subsection spoken today.
When you hear the prompt,
Be grateful for,
Drive focus to what I am asking you to be grateful for.
Be grateful for your body and all that it does.
You may be saying,
I am grateful to be able to shower or to make coffee.
Be mindful of what your body can do,
Big and small.
Be grateful for your mind and all the thoughts that have come in.
How your mind has expanded and the knowledge it holds.
Be grateful for your home.
What you choose to fill it with.
The energy,
The decor,
The way it makes you feel.
Be grateful for the ones that mean most to you.
Call them out in your head.
Express specific gratitude for these people.
Be grateful for nature and the way it makes you feel when you look outside and the sun is shining or the cool breeze on your face.
Be grateful for animals.
The ones that you have beside you that give you comfort.
And be grateful for your entire being.
Everything you are,
You are immaculate.
Take three more breaths on your own,
However serves you.
And each breath exhale gratitude that was expressed above.
If there is ever a time where you feel gratitude has slipped from your day to day,
Take an inhale,
I am and exhale grateful.
Inhale I am,
Exhale grateful.
Open your eyes.
Thank you so much for taking this meditation with me.
Take your time bringing yourself back online from your meditative state and know that you are grateful for everything in your life.
Peace love y'all.
