Today we are going to do a few affirmations with some gentle breath retention.
So you can do this practice while you're still lying in bed or you can stretch a little,
Gently roll up to a nice seated position or find a nice place in a chair with a nice straight spine.
Wherever you're at,
Just give yourself the opportunity to come to the present moment.
To allow your eyes to close.
To remain relaxed and alert.
Softening through the shoulders.
Softening through the hips.
Feeling a sense of grounding and attention.
We'll take a few nice deep belly breaths,
Inhaling,
Allowing the belly to rise.
Exhale,
Feeling it fall.
Soft belly,
Deep breath.
A few more rounds.
Just dropping down into the body,
Using the breath as a vehicle to allow us to be receptive to these affirmations.
I will repeat each affirmation three times.
You can join in or just listen,
Absorbing the words.
Take a nice deep inhale and we'll begin.

Fill the belly and just allow this affirmation to absorb into the system and when you need to,
Gently release the breath.

Reach the arms up overhead.
Give yourself a nice stretch.
Allow a gentle smile to cross your face.
