COURSE
With Rachel Zinman
Ganesha is one of the most beloved and recognisable figures in the Hindu tradition — but he is so much more than a statue on a shelf or an image on a wall. He is a living map for navigating the obstacles of real life. In this three-day course, globally recognised yoga teacher and mentor Rachel Zinman brings Ganesha off the page and into your body. Drawing on over 35 years of teaching experience and a deep fascination with Hindu mythology from a western practitioner's perspective, Rachel makes these ancient teachings immediately relevant — practical, accessible, and genuinely transformative. Over three days you will explore the mythology and symbolism of Ganesha, discover what his story reveals about your own mind and the obstacles you face, work with a powerful mudra sequence to embody his qualities, and move through a grounding and expansive yoga practice inspired by the elephant energy at the base and throat chakras. This is a course about recognition — recognising the wisdom, strength, and clarity that you already are and always were. By the end of this course you will: • Understand the mythology and symbolism of Ganesha and what it means for your everyday life • Have a direct experience of what it feels like to embody Ganesha's qualities through meditation, mudra, and movement • Have tools to work with obstacles — mental, emotional, and physical — in a practical and embodied way • Feel more grounded, clear, and expansive in body and mind
