Make yourself comfortable,
Standing or sitting.
Create an image in your mind of the stress or problem you are experiencing.
Focus on it just enough to allow you to rate it on an intensity scale of 0 to 10.
How strong is it?
How would you describe it?
Where do you feel it?
For instance,
It feels like I have butterflies in my stomach and it's an 8 out of 10.
Now,
Create a positive intention of what you want to accomplish.
For example,
I want to release my anxiety.
Cross your left ankle over your right.
Extend your arms out in front of you,
Palms facing outward and thumbs pointed down.
Cross your right hand over your left.
Interlace your fingers and turn your hands in and out so that your hands are resting under your chin.
Now,
Place the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth in the midline,
Behind the ridge and two upper front teeth.
Take slow,
Deep breaths in through your nose.
If you are able to close your eyes,
Do so.
Extend your intention in your mind throughout.
Settling in and settling down.
Visualize that your breath is entering through your left foot.
Follow it all the way up your spine to the top of your head and hold it and slowly release it back down and out your right foot.
And again,
Breathing in through your left foot,
Following it all the way up your spine to the top of your head and hold it and release it back out as you exhale through your right foot.
While you continue to breathe in this manner,
Visualize a healing,
Energetic light shining down on your head.
This light is a color of your choosing,
A color you relate to healing.
It might be a healing white light or a sunny yellow.
Whichever color you choose is exactly right for you.
This healing light is shining down on you and entering the top of your head through your crown chakra.
It's traveling through your body,
Your head,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Upper back,
Lower back,
Hips.
Healing light flowing through your arms,
Hands and fingers.
Healing light expanding through your chest into your heart,
Lungs and digestive system,
Strengthening everywhere it touches.
Healing light flowing into your legs,
Feet and toes.
And as this light shines,
It is also sending healing vibrations to every fiber,
Cell and atom of your being.
It is vibrating healing throughout your whole body and soul.
Vibrating healing forward to your children and their children.
Creating a new pattern for all involved.
Now release the posture,
Setting your feet flat on the floor.
Place your fingers in a steeple position,
Prayer like,
Without the palms touching.
While keeping your tongue on the roof of your mouth,
Continue your deep grounded breathing.
Your healing light is surrounding and protecting you.
And inside of you healing all of the anxiety,
Pain,
Hurt and anger you've been feeling as you focus on your chosen intention.
Release the steeple position of your hands.
Let your breathing return to normal and assess how you're feeling.
Now lightly place two fingertips between your eyebrows.
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
Monitor for any remaining tension,
Resistance or discomfort.
Visualize it floating away as you think or say,
I am releasing any remaining blockage to my intention from my body,
Mind and soul.
Repeat as you hold your fingertips under your nose.
I am releasing any remaining blockage to my intention from my body,
Mind and soul.
And again as you hold your fingertips under your bottom lip.
I am releasing any remaining blockage to my intention from my body,
Mind and soul.
Touch or lightly tap the upper part of your breastbone as you repeat.
I am releasing any remaining blockage to my intention from my body,
Mind and soul.
Take a deep breath in and exhale as you return your focus to your surroundings and reorient yourself towards the μ
