Feet and hands not touching.
And allow yourself to take this time for yourself and your well-being.
Now keeping your eyes open,
Place the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth in the midline.
Take a deep breath in and roll your eyes up as far as you comfortably can.
And keep your eyes up as you exhale.
And breathe in again and hold it.
And exhale as you keep your eyes up.
And one more time breathing in again and hold it.
And this time as you exhale keep your eyes up as you gently allow your eyelids to close down over your eyes.
And keeping your eyes up,
Breathe in again.
And as you hold it you may feel your eyes fluttering and that's just you easily settling into alpha brain waves and relaxation.
And this time as you exhale just let your eyes relax.
And now continuing to breathe deeply into your tummy just feel yourself sinking and floating and drifting.
And deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Now imagine a wave of relaxation flowing over your head softening your scalp muscles and forehead.
Relaxing your facial muscles.
Softening the muscles around your eyes.
Even feeling your jaw relax as if you were about to yawn.
And another wave of relaxation washing over your neck and throat.
Relaxing all those tight muscles at the back of your neck.
Feeling the back of your throat opening up.
And another wave of relaxation washing over your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Forearms,
Hands.
All the way to the tips of your fingers.
And another wave of relaxation blowing down your back.
Smoothing out the muscles of your shoulder blades.
Softening the muscles of your back down over your hips.
And you're feeling yourself sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Feeling more calm,
Peaceful.
As you feel another wave of relaxation flowing over your chest and tummy.
Opening your airways so that you are breathing deeply and clearly.
And your heart is beating regularly and calmly.
Feeling more peaceful as you drift and float deeper and deeper.
And another wave of relaxation flowing over your thighs,
Your shins,
Calves and feet.
All the way to the tips of your toes.
And one more wave of relaxation washing over your head,
Neck,
Shoulders and arms.
Smoothing over your back and chest,
Hips and legs.
Relaxing any remaining areas of tension so that you are feeling completely relaxed.
Your whole body feels heavy and calm.
Easy and peaceful.
Everything is feeling so relaxed.
Now allow yourself to drift and sink quickly and naturally into a deep,
Healing sleep from which you will awake refreshed,
Rejuvenated and enthused to start your new day.
