Lie,
Sit,
Or even stand comfortably,
Giving yourself permission to take this time to take this time for you and your well-being.
Breathe deeply and fully,
And imagine a point of healing light,
Of the color of your choosing,
Is focused on your body.
Everywhere the healing light travels,
Your muscles relax and soften.
Now,
Starting at the tip of your nose,
Let the light travel up the bridge of your nose to your forehead.
Allow it to circle counter-clockwise around your left eye,
And then up and around your forehead,
And down and around your right eye.
Your healing light is spiraling down and around your right cheek,
Across your jaw,
Over to the left cheek,
Spiraling around your left cheek,
And finally around your lips,
So that your whole face is feeling soft and relaxed,
And your jaw is dropped ever so slightly.
Now,
Let the light spiral counter-clockwise down your neck,
Three times.
And as your healing light travels across to your left shoulder,
Feel that shoulder relax and drop.
Now your light is traveling in three large spirals,
From your shoulder,
Down your left arm to your elbow,
Continuing to your wrist with another three spirals.
Circle around your left palm,
And now trace a circle around each of your five fingers,
Outlining them in the healing light of your color choice.
And spiraling six times back up the arm to your shoulder,
Through your armpit,
And across your back to your right armpit.
Now the light is traveling in three large spirals,
From your right shoulder,
Down the right arm to your elbow,
And continuing to the wrist with another three spirals,
Tracing around your palm,
And circling each one of your right fingers,
Outlining them in healing light.
And spiral six times back up the arm to the shoulder.
Now both your shoulders and arms are feeling heavy and relaxed.
Now the healing light is making seven slow spirals around your chest,
Back,
Abdomen,
Tummy and hips,
So that your shoulders,
Shoulder blades,
Back and tummy are comfortably relaxed.
And now the light is spiraling six times down your left leg,
Around your thigh,
And around your thigh,
Past your knee,
Around your shin and calf to your left ankle.
Traveling around your foot,
And now tracing a circle around each toe,
Outlining them in healing light.
Now allow the light to hop over to the big toe on your right foot,
And circle each toe,
Outlining them in healing light.
Travel around your foot,
And now spiraling the light six times back up your right leg,
Past your knee,
Around and up your thigh,
And end with an extra turn around your right thigh,
Up to the base of your spine behind your waist.
Take a deep breath in and hold it,
And let it all out,
Knowing you can return to this place of calm any time you choose.
